One thing I've always found tricky in the open data world: knowing who's actually publishing data in Canada. That's why I'm really glad the Canadian Open Data Directory exists. It's a free, bilingual, crowdsourced directory that helps you find Canadian organizations publishing open data... all in one searchable place. If you work in or around open data in Canada, bookmark this. And if your organization is publishing data and isn't listed yet, add it. https://lnkd.in/eXWtjmq8

@Jessie Ye from the University of Toronto just published a critical new study: "Road Work Ahead - The Impact of Construction on Cyclist Safety in Toronto." 🚴♂️⚠️ By diving deep into our Killed and Serious Injured (KSI) and Road Restrictions datasets, Jesse’s research highlights exactly how street work impacts rider safety. Incredible work turning raw municipal data into actionable, life-saving insights. Read the full paper here: https://lnkd.in/enJRmiXA
