As a Volunteer for the All-In Summit 2023, I helped ensure the evening parties (007 Bond and Poker party, Barbie & Beach party, Blade Runner / Cyberpunk party) ran smoothly by completing various tasks such as manage lines, deliver food, direct traffic, and act as security for VIP sections.

Startup Weekends are 3-day, 54-hour events for 50 to 100 beginning entrepreneurs similar to hackathons. TechStars Startup Weekends occur in hundreds of cities around the world every weekend. Within those 54 hours, attendees go from idea to customer discovery, to minimum viable product, to a 5-minute pitch for a panel of judges and potential investors.

Responsibilities:
* Fundraise approximately $8,000 to host the event
* Coordinate event venues and food services
* Coordinate event speakers who are local entrepreneurs
* Coordinate on-site mentors and advisors who give each team advice on their startups

As a mentor for the 2023 Startup Weekend Rapid City,I helped advise startups over the course of 54 hours on customer discovery, business model design, prototype development, and pitching/fundraising.

The Ascent Innovation Task Force would meet once a month to discuss, brainstorm, and make decisions regarding the design, construction, and operation of a new $12 million, 40,000 square foot startup incubator that was built in Rapid City, SD, called the Innovation Campus.

* Construction of the incubator was finished in early 2021.

I was a student representative for my university's Strategic Planning Committee.

Key Results:
* I interviewed over 20 administrative faculty and professors to understand how we as a university envisioned ourselves in 30 years.
* I worked with a small team of five individuals to propose our university's new vision statement, "Our vision is to develop world-class leaders in science and engineering to benefit society."

I was the student representative on the Strategic Enrollment Planning Committee. Our team developed the strategic plan for the admission's department for the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.

As a student representative on our university's Rebranding Committee, I helped with reviewing and interviewing marketing consultation companies that would lead our university's rebranding initiative.

Annually, the Innovation Club for Entrepreneurs would volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America. We would teach the Entrepreneurship Class so that cohorts of Boy Scouts could achieve their Entrepreneurship Badges.

Throughout my K-12 education, I spent hundreds of hours per year volunteering for the Brandon Tennis Association.
