The Advancing Diversity in Technology Community is dedicated to supporting and promoting workforce diversity, helping companies create work environments inclusive of all people. We seek to be the leading voice for the advancement of African-Americans, Hispanics and Latinos within the technology industry who have traditionally been underrepresented.

The Center’s mission is to study the intersection of technology and the workforce, and leverage those insights to produce data-driven, smart policies and methodologies to ensure a productive, viable, and equitable 21st century workforce.

The Employee Assembly consists of twenty-eight members, representing the campus community of Cornell employees, who are committed to providing staff with a means of continuous involvement in the governance of the affairs and life of the University. Responsible for coordinating 27 constituent representatives, 10 committees, and the Executive Board. Develop constituent outreach initiatives and oversee creation and implementation of legislation. Responsible for allocating student activity fee of $6.5 million to student organizations.

Responsible for coordinating the diversity initiatives of the SA. Responsible for developing a diversity and inclusion plan for the Assembly and the shared governance system. Oversaw the implementation of new initiatives, including a plan for improving composition, engagement, inclusion, and achievement of different underrepresented groups. Evaluated legislation, Assembly actions, and internal policies for levels of inclusion.

Served as the first VP of Outreach. Responsible for developing strategies for getting different groups and individuals involved in the participatory governance process. Responsible for coordinating the outreach activities of the 27 individual representatives and the Assembly as a whole.
