She painted a great picture about how she could solve our problems, with a lot of depth and substance. Dyslexic I hadn’t seen the link. How did he spot that from our interview questions? Autistic Did you see how focused she was? Finished the task in half the time of everyone else. ADHD It’s not just about “doing the right thing”, your discrimination limits access to skilled, qualified and experienced candidates. #recruitment

Last week in Helsingborg, the United States and Sweden signed a Technology Prosperity Deal covering AI, 5G and 6G, quantum technology, biomedicine, space, energy and defense innovation. This is only the fifth such agreement signed by the U.S. worldwide and Sweden is the only European nation included. Why should we care? Because as I have said many times over on different stages all over, the technologies that are defining the next generation of economic growth, security and geopolitical influence are being developed right now. Nations that help shape them will have a seat at the table. Nations that don’t are toast. The agreement confirm that Sweden is much more than a consumer of advanced technology. It is being recognized as a globally important strategic partner in developing it. In Sweden, this creates opportunities for researchers, startups, scaleups and established industry to deepen collaboration with the world’s largest innovation ecosystem, something I personally deeply care about. For the U.S., love them or not, it strengthens ties with one of Europe’s most innovative and technologically advanced countries. At a time when many discussions focus on Europe’s challenges, this is a reminder that Sweden under the current government is growing its role as a technology nation with global relevance. Keep making Sweden Smarter, Maria Malmer Stenergard and all hard working entrepreneurs and techies out there. 🚀

Google's AI-related revenue is hidden inside a $280B+ business. And suddenly, the AI race looks less like a race to intelligence… And more like a race to monetization. Everyone talks about which model is smarter. Fewer people ask: who is actually making money? The honest answer is uncomfortable. NVIDIA is the clear winner, selling shovels to every gold miner. OpenAI is growing fast, but still burning capital faster than it earns. Anthropic is building quietly,centerprise and API revenue, not consumer habit. Google and Meta are playing a different game entirely: AI makes their existing products more valuable, even if AI itself runs at a loss. This is the part people miss: There is no single AI business model. There are at least four. Picks and shovels. Subscriptions. Enterprise contracts. Platform lock-in. The winner will not be the company with the smartest model. It will be the one that found the right business model for that model. Revenue tells a different story than benchmarks.

During my down time, my boys pulled me aside and created this video to never give up regardless of what you’re going through and focus on glass half full even coming from London with $50 in my pocket. Last 2 years has been tough having lost loved ones, close friends, colleagues, even disappointments that hurts to the core unexpectedly, I am reminded of the importance of life to find time to gain true peace in your career and whatever drives you, never let set backs darkens your shine or dim your light. Sharing the stage with leaders from Microsoft and Salesforce, I had the privilege of demoing the power of Workspace Intelligence, Workspace Studio, NotebookLM, and Gemini Enterprise to over 300 Caribbean and global business leaders. One of the highlights of the session was "walking the talk" regarding AI utility. To protect corporate privacy while delivering a high-fidelity experience, I used Gemini Enterprise to architect the entire demo from scratch. Within minutes, Gemini Enterprise generated: - A comprehensive demo script for a fictional smart-home lighting company - Realistic datasets including email chains, meeting transcripts, and financial reports - Competitive analysis and use-case scenarios The result? A concise, 30-minute deep dive that showcased how Google Gemini is fundamentally changing the way we work. Proud to see Google emerge as the conference favorite and excited to see how the Caribbean tech ecosystem continues to lead in AI adoption.
