Ty Lewis shared this2025 was a great year of growth and opportunity in the industrial automation world. Many of our customers are asking us questions around automating their production lines, improving their machines, and making future-ready solutions so they can maintain their competitive advantages. This is truly an exciting time for the electrical and automation industry as the reshoring of manufacturing in the US is needing future-ready solutions where energy I want to take some time to highlight a few of the unique opportunities I've had the pleasure of supporting and showcasing our portfolio over the last few years. We were able to build a custom servo demo with our distributor partner for an engineer who is extremely busy being pulled in 100+ directions. The demo, highlighted below, was designed for the engineer to explore at their own pace our offer and configure the solution to their design. The demo went exceptionally well, where we actually helped integrate this into a working machine using our PLC, which we loaned them, and got it to a minimal level of operational on the fly. We have been working with a generator manufacturer who was exploring a change of their breaker manufacturer from a competitor for the last few years. Their support had dropped, and they needed a different solution for the new design they had been working on. This is where we worked with another distributor partner to provide a value-added offer to have the breakers come prewired and ready for installation into the system. We worked through the early stages of the design process to make sure the system had all the future-ready features needed and communicated the reality of where the supply chain was through major events like COVID. We are now walking alongside this partner for all their next endeavors. One of the most unique opportunities was with a company building systems to make potable drinking water from the air. Water scarcity is something that impacts many places in the world, and being able to purify water from the air anywhere in the world is an amazing concept. I've also worked with air compressor manufacturers to showcase a full SE control panel and the PLC features that make integration a breeze. Discussed with customers how EAE can give them more control over their system, and many more discussions across many industries. These are just a few stories of SE working with our partners in the Carolinas to showcase our portfolio in unique ways. Schneider Electric is more than just a "gray box" company; we are your energy technology partner with a unique portfolio to help you electrify, automate, and digitize your assets to a future-ready state. If you are looking to improve your processes, explore a new solution, or get a creative outside-the-box idea. Let us know, as SE and our partners are ready to support your endeavors and highlight how we can walk alongside you on your next journey with our portfolio.

Ty Lewis reacted on thisTy Lewis reacted on thisTen years ago, I started with Schneider in the Sales Development Program. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working across four business units, visiting offices and innovation centers on three continents, earning President’s Club twice, fulfilling a lifelong dream of living and working abroad, all while having a little fun! To the mentors, leaders, peers, customers, partners, and friends who have supported, challenged, encouraged, and inspired me along the way, thank you! You’ve had a profound impact on both my career and my life. Cheers to a decade with Schneider and to all the experiences and people that made it so meaningful. Life is On (and We Are Your Energy Technology Partner)! (Capturing 10 years in pics is pretty difficult but here are a few highlights!)

Ty Lewis liked thisTy Lewis liked thisIt's hard to believe it's already been a year since I joined the Industrial Automation Sales Development Program! Looking back, I'm grateful for the opportunities, people, and experiences that have shaped my first year. I've had the chance to build a foundation across our Industrial Automation portfolio—from control systems and drives to software and digital transformation solutions—while realizing just how much more there is still to learn. I've gained a deeper appreciation for the value of Schneider Electric's external network, including our System Integrator partners and Distributors, whose expertise and support play a critical role in helping customers achieve their goals. I've also been fortunate to spend time with our Consumer-Packaged Goods strategic account teams supporting the Food & Beverage and Life Sciences markets across the U.S., which has broadened my understanding of the CPG industry and the challenges manufacturers navigate every day. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been getting out into the field and learning directly from our sales teams across the East region. Whether visiting water treatment facilities, boat manufacturers, foundries, or other industrial sites, I've gained firsthand insight into how automation supports the products, infrastructure, and operations we rely on every day. A recent major highlight was attending Automate 2026 in Chicago, where I had the opportunity to connect with our teams, explore innovative solutions, meet with customers and partners, and experience the excitement and momentum driving the future of automation. Thank you to everyone who has invested time in teaching, mentoring, and supporting me throughout this journey. I am extremely excited to continue learning, growing, and deepening my expertise in year two!

Ty Lewis liked thisTy Lewis liked thisI recently took a road trip back to my old stomping grounds in Peoria, and it brought back a massive wave of nostalgia. It’s funny how time gives you perspective. Looking back, that was exactly where I got my start in controls engineering. Diving headfirst into GE PLC's, Fanuc robotics, and industrial automation in those early days laid the entire foundation for my career. It was great to revisit the area and show my wife where the professional journey all started. No matter how much time passes or how far the work takes you, it’s always grounding to look back at the place where you first learned to build, troubleshoot, and appreciate the grit it takes to succeed in automation. Here’s to never forgetting where you plugged in your first PLC. 🛠️ #ControlsEngineering #Automation #IndustrialAutomation #CareerJourney #SystemsIntegration

What a fun 3 days with the fabulous women within Schneider and our industry. It was the perfect blend of catching up with colleagues I don’t get to see often and meeting new faces that have joined in the past few years. I listened to incredible speakers that opened my perspective on change and pushing through fears. After the speakers wrapped up, every night we had events that allowed us to experience the city of Houston. I even went to my first Astros game!

Ty Lewis liked thisTy Lewis liked thisOver the past eight years, I’ve been fortunate to build lifelong friendships with customers, coworkers, and leaders who have shaped my early-career path in ways that are hard to capture. It feels impossible to sum up this challenging yet incredibly meaningful chapter with just one word—but if I had to choose, it would be gratitude. There are a few individuals who have played an especially important role in my growth and development at Schneider. To a few of my mentors and friends—Stacy Moore, Scott Gardner, Clay McKissack, and, last but certainly not least, Graham Myers—thank you. The time, guidance, and belief each of you invested in me has made this transition all the more difficult, and I’m deeply appreciative. While it’s not easy to close this chapter, I’m excited and ready for a new challenge. My experience at Schneider Electric has prepared me well for what’s ahead. I’m thrilled to share that I will be joining The Brent Hull Companies as Director of Sales starting June 1. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited to begin this next chapter in my career. Brent Hull - lets get to work!

Ty Lewis liked thisTy Lewis liked thisBoston Marathon bucket list: ACHIEVED. 💙💛 I set out with a “5 hour-ish” goal and got it done… despite my hamstring staging a full rebellion around mile 10. 😅 Somewhere along the course, the running gods gifted me a sealed Advil pack laying in the road. I fought to get it open while running… only for it to explode and crumble all over the course. 😂 (And yes… I picked up every piece I could and carried it with me!) A huge thank you to the kind man at the medical table who rubbed out both hamstrings right before Heartbreak Hill. ❤️🩹That act of kindness helped carry me to the finish line. Boston will forever hold a special place in my heart, and it was truly an honor to be part of such an iconic event. I was especially honored to represent Schneider Electric and raise money for The Footprint Project supporting sustainable mobile power for disaster relief efforts. In my 28 years with Schneider Electric, this was one of my proudest days. Grateful for the experience, the support, and every step of the journey. 🦄🥇Thank You for the support!
