Norbu Tsering reacted on thisNorbu Tsering reacted on thisNew: Amazon’s cloud boss Matt Garman told employees in an all-hands meeting yesterday that if they don’t agree with its new five-day in-office mandate, they could leave for another company. “If there are people who just don’t work well in that environment and don’t want to, that’s OK, there are other companies around,” Garman said, according to a transcript of the meeting we viewed. Amazon's stricter RTO policy has generated backlash from some employees who say it flies in the face of data showing remote/hybrid work leads to greater productivity. But, I'm eating my words now! 😑 Fast forward to these days, I'm using factory methods in my codebase and realizing "OH, THIS IS WHAT THEY MEANT BY FACTORY METHOD?!" 🤯 If only I knew the principle behind it before starting to code... things would've been a looot easier! Moral of the story: don't be like me! Learn design patterns, including factory method, and save yourself from future face-palms! this is the best resource : https://lnkd.in/gUMPJwhq Take it from me, understanding design patterns will make you a coding ninja!
