It's here. It's my electric road trip series. It's on PBS NATURE.
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*
Pinching myself that this series is out, after years of working on it with a big vision, tons of science, and a whole lot of heart. Episode 1 is LIVE and I am on the edge of my seat for you to see it! Link in comments ⬇️
“Sophie’s Great American ELECTRIC Road Trip” was my biggest experiment yet. I drove an electric car from Los Angeles to Boston and back on a coast-to-coast (to coast!) roundtrip journey across the USA.
Across 7000+ miles and 25 states, I found science, solutions, everyday changemakers, learners of all ages, the full spectrum of emotions, and, ultimately, hope amidst the climate/everything crisis.
This series is a celebration of all that we have, and have to protect.
I couldn’t be more excited to team up with PBS Nature and HHMI Tangled Bank Studios to kick this project’s impact into high gear**. The series will live on YouTube, the
PBS Nature app, at
HHMI Tangled Bank Studios, on
Science With Sophie and
Cool Jacket Productions, in libraries across the USA, and at a screening near you… really, send me a DM. We want to bring this to your community.
But first, don’t miss Episode 1!!
So many thank you’s are in order… to start:
To

If you’ve read this far, thank YOU for supporting science comedy for girls and everyone. I made this new series for the kids in my audience who are now teens, and the adults in their lives. I made this to grow with my audience. Holy toots we’ve all grown a lot. Thank you for being on this life-long journey with me.
Episodes of “Sophie’s Great American ELECTRIC Road Trip” drop Mondays, July 13th through August 31st.
