Thomas Murray reposted thisThomas Murray reposted thisThis week I was honored to attend the inauguration of our new Honeywell Aerospace campus in Bangalore: 600,000 square feet of world-class labs, a customer experience center and home to thousands of people working across engineering, customer support, and international supply chain. This isn’t expansion into new territory. India has been a part of our geography for years. Years of innovation, of engineering rigor, of solving complex problems, of building the systems our customers trust without thinking twice. What changes today is scale. What doesn’t change is the standard. The work being done in Bangalore has never been a supporting chapter in our company’s story, it’s helped write it. Our India team will shape aircraft performance, supply chain resilience and customer experience far beyond this building’s walls. Because that’s what this team has always done. Now, with more room to do it!

Thomas Murray reposted thisThomas Murray reposted thisAfter a year-and-a-half of preparation, the day has finally arrived. Today, Honeywell Aerospace became an independent, publicly traded Aerospace & Defense company listed on the Nasdaq with the symbol HONA. We marked the momentous occasion by ringing the opening bell this morning, and while that’s an experience I’ll never forget, it also a reflective moment to look back at what it took to get here. I could not be more grateful to the 36,000+ employees at Honeywell Aerospace for helping to make this spin a success. When I say it took a lot of nights and weekends, that’s not hyperbole. What inspired me most was how genuinely excited people were to make the spin a success. From every corner of the company, they believed in it – and it showed. There were countless tasks and tricky problems to solve … from IT to brand … from legal to finance and everything in between. Every day leading into this spin was a series of puzzles to solve. But our people did it. This company is filled with problem-solvers. Of course, they didn’t do it alone. I’d be remiss not to thank Vimal Kapur and his team at Honeywell Technologies for everything they did to ensure both companies are set up for very bright futures. While we’re excited to go our own way, my “good-byes” to countless Honeywell Technologies employees are filled with gratitude. While so much work has been done just to get us to our separation day, I understand this is just the start. I’m truly energized by what’s ahead and I couldn’t be more confident in the team we’ve built to become the world’s top pure-play Aerospace and Defense company. My deepest thanks to everyone who helped make today possible, and here’s to new horizons ahead.

Today, I was reminded of that lesson as Honeywell Aerospace officially launched as an independent company, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in its storied history. It was a privilege to join colleagues in Phoenix for the NASDAQ bell ringing and celebrate this milestone with Honeywell Aerospace teams across the Valley and around the world. Proud of what we've built—and excited for what comes next. #HoneywellAerospace

For many Arizona families, the cost of school essentials can create an added challenge at a time when students should be focused on learning, growing, and building confidence for the year ahead. That’s why I was proud to join fellow Honeywell Aerospace volunteers in partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks to help distribute backpacks filled with school supplies to local youth. Every backpack represents opportunity, preparation, and support for students as they head back to the classroom with the supplies they need to succeed. At Honeywell Aerospace, we believe strong communities help create brighter futures. Through partnerships like the one we hold with the Arizona Diamondbacks, we are working together to make a meaningful difference for Arizona students and families, helping ensure more young people have the tools they need to start the school year ready to learn and thrive.
