Tim Carroll reposted thisTim Carroll reposted thisTim Carroll shared the 4-anchors in our recent conversation on The Authentic Sales Manager Podcast. They are: Persistence (or steadfast consistency) Patience (or fortitude, courage in the face of adversity) Integrity Attitude The leaders who build lasting teams and real trust are the ones who keep all four anchors in place, even when pressure mounts and quotas are due. What do you think about these 4 anchors? #SalesLeadership #Leadership #Integrity #Mindset

Tim Carroll reposted thisTim Carroll reposted thisWhen revenue pressure hits, what happens to your integrity? It’s easy to talk about heart-centered selling when numbers are up. But a heavy end-of-month quota can cause panic, leading to dropped prices and compromised principles. Episode 11 of The Authentic Sales Manager Podcast is LIVE! Host Harry Spaight sits down with sales director Tim Carroll to discuss keeping your integrity intact under corporate pressure. Key Takeaways: The "Yes/No" Standard: Authenticity means letting your yes be yes and your no be no. Patience & Fortitude: Leadership maturity means having the restraint to stay the course without panicking over short-term shifts. A Noble Calling: Overcoming the stigma that selling is "slimy" by focusing on true client value. Tim Carroll reposted thisTim Carroll reposted thisLIVE NOW: How do you lead a sales organization when you don't own the payroll? Managing direct W2 employees gives you full control over their time and KPIs. But what do you do when your entire territory relies on independent representative firms who share their calendar with your competitors? In this episode, Tim Carroll joins Harry Spaight to share his playbook on securing the mindshare of independent sales networks. Tim’s 4 Anchors of the Profession: Credibility Over Authority: Move away from titles and leverage relationship equity to become an indispensable advisor. Persistence: Rep networks respond to a steadfast, consistent message rather than shifting quarterly targets. Patience & Fortitude: Developing the executive maturity to see your long-term strategy through. Attitude: Keeping a mindset of intentional gratitude to lift the culture of your team. Tim Carroll liked thisTim Carroll liked thisAttention to all Executive Leaders, CEOs, Presidents and Sales Leaders... Please stop calling your salespeople professionals if you refuse to coach them like professionals. Professional athletes spend hours every week reviewing film, analyzing performance metrics, and working with coaches who help them improve every aspect of their game. They don't see data nor analytics as criticism, they see it as the fastest path to greatness. Yet in sales... Too many leaders still use data for one thing... Inspection, pipeline reviews, forecast meetings, activity reports, and end-of-month accountability. By the time the numbers are discussed, the game is already over. Championship organizations don't use analytics to judge performance, they use analytics to develop performance. Imagine for a moment, if an NFL coach only looked at the scoreboard after the game and never reviewed film during the week, he'd be fired. Yet that's exactly how many sales organizations operate. They inspect outcomes instead of coaching behaviors. I'm here to tell you this... If you want a team of order takers, keep managing spreadsheets. However... If you want a team of elite sales professionals, coach them with data. Use analytics to identify coaching moments, use trends to develop strengths, use insights to eliminate blind spots, and use data to create confidence, not fear. Folks, data doesn't replace leadership, it makes great leadership possible. The sales scoreboard tells you what happened, data tells you why it happened. Coaching determines what happens next. Aiming this right at CEOs and Sales Leaders... Are you using your sales data to inspect your salespeople or to develop them? There's a championship-level difference... Just saying.... Check out what's behind this rant here... https://salesindex.ai/

Tim Carroll liked thisTim Carroll liked thisAttention to all sales leaders... If you want more commitment, then invest more commitment. The best sales leaders understand that the more you invest in your team, the more you collect from your team. You collect... - Greater trust - Higher engagement - Increased accountability - Stronger retention - A culture people don't want to leave Stop asking... Why aren't my salespeople performing? Start asking... - Have I been consistently investing in them? - Have I invested in their development? - Have I invested in coaching instead of correcting? - Have I invested in helping them see what's possible for their future? Salespeople rarely outperform the environment they're led in. Because when salespeople feel seen, valued, and supported, they don't just give you their effort, they give you their commitment. Leadership isn't about extracting results, it's about creating the conditions where extraordinary results become inevitable. Your greatest ROI as a leaders isn't found on a spreadsheet, it's found in the growth of the salespeople you've been entrusted to lead. #sellingfromtheheart #sellinginaposttrustworld

Tim Carroll liked thisTim Carroll liked thisTrust isn't built by what you say, it's earned by what you consistently do. Trust and credibility is created when your daily actions consistently match your words. Think about the people you trust the most. It's probably not because they made the biggest promises, it's because they consistently kept the smallest ones. Trust isn't built in a single conversation, it's built in the moments between conversations. - Every email you said you'd send - Every follow-up you promised - Every meeting you showed up prepared for - Every commitment you honored, even when no one was watching In this post-trust world, people aren't just evaluating what you know, they're watching whether your actions align with your message. Consistency creates confidence, confidence builds credibility, credibility earns trust, and trust is the foundation of every meaningful relationship. If you want to stand out, don't focus on saying more, focus on becoming the kind of person whose actions make your words believable. #sellingfromtheheart #sellinginaposttrustworld

Tim Carroll liked thisTim Carroll liked thisSubcontracting for general contractors (GCs) can be a challenging dynamic. Often, GCs prioritize speed and cost-efficiency, sometimes overlooking the nuances of specialized installations, like cable tray. This can lead to issues like warranty violations, which directly impact the end-user and create friction. Understanding whether the concern is a code violation or a standard violation is key. The relationship dynamic between subcontractors and GCs can be strained, with GCs sometimes treating subs poorly and aiming to back-charge rather than foster collaboration. #CableTray #cbrcdd #rcdd #wiremonkey #BICSI

Tim Carroll liked thisTim Carroll liked thisSales leaders often focus on results first. But results are the outcome—not the starting point. Kevin Hoverman shares a simple formula for sustainable sales success: Attitude + Activity + Skills = Results When performance is falling short, leaders must look beneath the number. Is there an attitude issue that needs to be addressed? Is the salesperson completing the right activities? Is there a skill gap that requires coaching, practice, or better preparation? An authentic sales manager does not simply tell someone to produce more. They help that person identify what is missing and build the skills necessary to improve. Watch this clip from the newest episode of the Authentic Sales Manager Podcast, Leadership Is Service: The WHY Matters More Than Quota. #AuthenticSalesManager #SalesLeadership #SalesCoaching #SalesManagement #LeadershipDevelopment
