The Board evaluates companies for funding consideration and advises entrepreneurs on matters relating to fundraising and business development. Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership, Inc. was chartered in 2008 as a non-profit 501(c)(6) membership organization and then transferred into a 501(c)3 as the Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership Foundation, Inc. in 2014. It is comprised of technology companies and technology users, economic development groups and higher education institutions which are united to promote and expand our regional technology sector through seminars, forums and educational programs.

Created in 1982 by the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Florida is the only organization that takes a statewide view to the challenges facing Florida and it selects individuals with passion and commitment for its annual class. LF selects 55 leaders in business, politics and philanthropy this year for an eight-month training and development program that many regard as one of the most significant educational and career experiences

The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University in Estero, FL presents awards to distinguished entrepreneur nominees who are business owners from Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. Each has been nominated for their success in overcoming obstacles, growing their business through new technologies, or assisting other small businesses via mentorship and civic leadership.

Since 1964, the Florida Economic Development Council has promoted economic development throughout the state of Florida. Today we are its primary resource for developing economic development professionals, issues education, networking, and recognition of excellence among members of the profession. 500+ professionals count on FEDC to educate, advocate, and connect on their behalf.

Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida was incorporated in June of 1994 under the direction of strong business leaders who were passionate about education and free enterprise. Their story begins in 1975, when they taught 24 students in an after-school session at Naples High School. Our volunteers and staff remain active today, serving in the classroom and in community endeavors.

BioFlorida is the statewide trade association for the life sciences industry. The organization operates under a 501-c6 tax status with several Volunteer-led Regional Chapters. These Chapters and the Chapter Chairs that led the efforts regionally serve the needs of the BioFlorida membership and the industry as a whole.

GCVF is a non-profit 501(c)6 Angel Investment Network with two chapters in Naples and Sarasota. With the formation of the Tamiami Angel Fund I and an election of a new chair, the GCVF changed its business model to a Venture Development Organization with an accompanying name change to Fusion Pointe (www.fusionpointe.org)
