Tia Stavely reposted thisTia Stavely reposted thisMost people think remote work looks like this: 🍺 🐕 🧘♀️ 📺 🏝️ ☕ 🧺 🎶 📺 Netflix on in the background 🧺 A laundry cycle between calls ☕ Fancy lattes in the kitchen 🐕 A dog in every Zoom window But here’s what it actually looks like for most high performers: ✅ Fewer distractions ✅ More focused mornings ✅ Deep work without side chats ✅ Results over office optics ✅ Outside work balance Personally... I find the office distracting Whilst side-conversations do promote innovation, the cost is deep-work The reality for me is the following: 🏢 Office = meetings, distractions, commute, repeat 🏡 Remote = intention, autonomy, impact Let’s be clear though: 💡 The location doesn’t make you productive 🧠 Your habits do So, where do you do your best work? 👇 Drop it in the comments ♻️ Repost to bust myths about remote productivity ➕ Follow me (Stephen Baines) for more on leadership, mindset & performance

Tia Stavely reposted thisTia Stavely reposted thisRemote work changed everything for me. But not in the way people think. The biggest shift wasn't working from home. It was finally working like an adult. No more asking permission to use the bathroom. No more sneaking lunch in supply closets. No more explaining why I need to leave for a medical appointment. After years of hospital schedules dictating my life, having autonomy felt revolutionary. The productivity gains were immediate: • Deep work without constant interruptions • Meetings that actually had purpose • Energy left for my personal life But the psychological impact was even greater. Being trusted to manage my time. Being judged on results, not face time. Having control over my environment. Remote work isn't just about location flexibility. It's about being treated like the professional you are. For healthcare workers used to rigid hierarchies and micromanagement, this freedom can be life-changing. Your expertise deserves trust, not surveillance.

Tia Stavely liked thisTia Stavely liked thisIf money was enough, retention wouldn’t be a problem. But we all know it is. I’ve watched people stay in lower paying roles and I’ve watched people walk away from big checks. The difference was never the number. It was the feeling. How it felt to show up on a random Tuesday. How it felt to be human at work. How it felt to speak up. How it felt to be tired. Pay gets attention. Culture decides loyalty. And culture isn’t perks. It isn’t slogans. It’s the small stuff people notice but leaders often miss. → Who gets listened to in meetings → Whether time off actually feels safe to take → What happens when someone drops the ball → If growth is talked about or actually supported People don’t stay because they’re comfortable. They stay because they’re respected. In reality, → Feedback isn’t a threat → Pressure doesn’t roll downhill → Effort is noticed before burnout hits → Life outside work isn’t treated like an inconvenience You can’t outpay a bad environment. You can only outcare it. If you’re trying to keep your team, don’t start with spreadsheets. Start with this question: What does it really feel like to work for me? Sit with that answer. That’s where retention lives. What’s one thing that made you stay at a job longer than expected? Tia Stavely reacted on thisTia Stavely reacted on thisSometimes we think opportunity only comes from the doors we can see, the ones we can reach, or the ones we feel qualified to knock on. But the truth is, God’s favor is not limited to our effort, network, or credentials. 🙌🏾 There are blessings He has prepared that you don’t even know exist yet. Doors that you could never access on your own strength… He can swing wide open in His perfect timing. So if you’re in a season where it feels like nothing is moving, remember: your inability does not limit His ability. Trust the One who holds the master key. 🔑✨ 👉🏾 Keep showing up! Keep being faithful! The doors you can’t knock on. God can open!

Tia Stavely reacted on thisTia Stavely reacted on thisManagers who protect their teams are the REAL leaders. Leadership isn’t about titles, authority, or control — it’s about protection, empathy, and courage. The best leaders? They stand right in the middle — between their team and the chaos above. They shield their people from: * Office politics * Toxic culture * Burnout *Micromanagement *Blame culture They don’t just manage tasks — they create safe spaces for creativity, accountability, and growth. Because when teams feel protected, they don’t just perform… they THRIVE. So here’s to the quiet heroes who have your back, even when no one’s watching. #Leadership #Teamwork #Empathy #Management #Culture #RealLeaders Image Credit: Jitender Girdhar

Tia Stavely reacted on thisTia Stavely reacted on thisDuring my silent job search, I applied to around 40 jobs. I had: - 17 interviews (recruiter + hiring manager + panel) - No assessments or projects - Withdrew from 4 interview rounds because the salary and culture didn’t align - 3 in-person final interviews - 1 offer I was very intentional with my search. Even though I was passively looking, I did not settle. I see so many people leave their current job just because they are over it, without properly evaluating their next opportunity. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. In fact, most of the time, the grass is the same, you just have to decide what type of weeds, patches, and upkeep you’re willing to deal with. Every company has its challenges, but being intentional means knowing what matters most to you and what you’re not willing to compromise on. Sometimes it’s not about chasing “greener grass,” but about choosing the right lawn to nurture, one where you can plant seeds, grow, and thrive. 🌱

Tia Stavely reacted on thisTia Stavely reacted on thisUnfortunately, I commuted two hours this morning and walked into the office, only to hear, “Go home and file for unemployment.” I was terminated after a terrible commute and now have a commute home. Am I happy? No. Did I see the writing on the wall? Absolutely. Have I been applying for jobs for the past two months? Of course. However, my hours had already been reduced significantly which did impact me financially the past two months. And now to be unemployed in this economy is a big stressor. This is the first time I’ve been without a job since college and it’s got me feeling a bit lost. Pray for me, that’s all I ask. Pray for direction and that God would open doors. Pray for the emotional impact this is taking. Pray that I’ll continue to trust in God even in the midst of uncertainty. #OpenToWork #JobSearch #CareerTransition #Resilience #FaithInGod #PrayerRequest #StayStrong

Tia Stavely reacted on thisTia Stavely reacted on thisI applied to a company several times because I wanted to work there so bad. I made it through 4 interview rounds and was rejected each time. Today I learned that the company did layoffs in the department that I was interviewing for. A lot of people aren’t believers or they believe in the universe or “luck” but I believe that God protects you from certain things even if you can’t see exactly what the protection is from and things seem unclear to you. Sometimes that rejection isn’t rejection at all, it’s redirection. It’s God keeping you from walking into a storm that you didn’t even know was forming. It’s Him saying “not this one, because I have better for you.” If you’re in the middle of a season where nothing seems to be working out, I want you to remember that unseen protection is still protection. Closed doors can save you from pain, from instability, and from settling in a space that was never meant to sustain you. Trust the process, even when it doesn’t make sense. What looks like a setback could very well be the setup for something greater than you imagined. Rejection is often God’s way of making room for your blessing.

📊 What if your accounting and tax workpapers were already built, structured, and ready to use? At AniGlobServe, we help firms save time and scale faster by preparing fully functional, structured Excel-based accounting and taxation workpapers that are ready for immediate use. Our team can build and maintain workpapers such as: ✔ Trial Balance & Lead Schedules ✔ Depreciation & Fixed Asset Schedules ✔ Tax Computation Schedules ✔ Financial Statement Supporting Schedules ✔ Reconciliation Workpapers ✔ Audit-ready Documentation ✔ Custom Excel Templates tailored to your firm 💡 What makes our workpapers different? • Professionally structured Excel files • Linked formulas and automated calculations • Clean, review-ready format • Easy for partners and managers to review • Customizable to your firm’s methodology Instead of spending valuable hours building spreadsheets, your team can focus on analysis, advisory, and client relationships. If your CPA only talks to you once a year, that’s compliance, not strategy. Tax outcomes are shaped during the year, not at filing time. Structure, timing, and planning matter long before December. January is when real tax planning begins. If you want ongoing tax strategy instead of once-a-year filing, reach out and start planning early. #TaxPlanning #TaxStrategy #BusinessOwners #Entrepreneurship #CPAAdvisory #AnomalyCPA
