When I began riding in 2019, I had no idea what I was doing, about the effects of ‘overtraining’, forget VO2 Max, Power, or that I’d need to incorporate hours of weekly strength training to see real progress. 😳 As somebody with zero knowledge base in athletics, I made tons of early mistakes that I laugh at now; but more importantly, I stayed fascinated by what I didn’t know, persistent (and resilient when I fell), asking questions, researching and learning from experienced riders along the way. The discovery of this side of myself has been life changing in so many ways, but wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t take the first step, however messy and ill informed. The new 75-character title limit is already live for some product categories, and it appears Amazon is introducing it gradually before expanding it more broadly. Many sellers assume this means losing valuable keyword space. From what I've seen so far, that's not necessarily the case. When the remaining keywords are moved to Item Highlights, the Product Detail Page (PDP) still reads naturally. To shoppers, the experience looks almost identical—but behind the scenes, the catalog is cleaner and more structured. This update encourages better listing optimization: - Clearer, easier-to-read titles - Better organization of product information - Less keyword stuffing - A more consistent shopping experience The focus now isn't fitting everything into the title. It's making the first 75 characters count while using Item Highlights to capture the remaining searchable features and benefits. The good news? There's no need to panic. This is more of a backend catalog change than a visual storefront change. Once you understand where the information belongs, adapting your listings is actually quite straightforward. It's still too early to know whether this will impact search rankings, CTR, or conversions—we'll need data over the coming months. But from a catalog quality and customer experience perspective, this feels like a positive step.
