Nathan Ruff reposted thisNathan Ruff reposted thisThis week, 24 of us from Hampton played Pebble Beach for our annual Founder’s Cup (and my Team USA took back the crown). What started as an idea Thomas & I had a few years ago has now grown to more than a golf trip. Founders have a lot in common, and bringing together a group of them who also enjoy golf takes it to another level. Thankful for everyone who came out and for the many people behind the scenes who made it all possible. It was the best one yet. Until next year! Now it’s time to get back to work. — Great time hanging with you all! Nathan Ruff shared thisRule 1: Don't lie. This entire message is a lie. He often sends requests. He doesn't know anything about my journey, and if he did he still wouldn't word it that way. That's not how humans talk. Our belief at Perfect is that we're so good at our jobs people want to work with us. We don't need to lie, sell, or try to convince anyone otherwise.

Nathan Ruff shared thisThis week we announced Perfect AI. We rebuild your website in a modern framework, then connect it to our AI. From that point on, you're not paying for our time. You're paying per task. Every plan comes with a set of tasks. A task could be adding a new page, building an app, creating a CRM, or even cloning an existing product. Bigger projects use more tasks. Simple as that. AI makes everything 10x faster and 10x cheaper. Instead of quietly pocketing that difference, we're passing it directly to you.

Nathan Ruff reposted thisNathan Ruff reposted thisThe LinkedIn bro’s seem to have finally discovered Claude skills. 12 months later. My advice: get off this app and go play with Claude Code, Codex, Google Antigravity. Stop scrolling, go use it. That’s how you figure this out. In the last 6 months I have: - built an app that has a client paying $2k per month - built a feature in Shopify that a Shopify dev said was impossible - coded several custom landing pages in Shopify - coded A/B tests that I would previously wait days for from devs A year ago I would not have been able to do any of this. Stop reading and bookmarking. It’s all the same boring fluff. Go, have a play. Keen to hear what you do with it!

Nathan Ruff shared thisEvery Thursday I teach a company-wide Masterclass. This week's topic: The Age of Apps and why SaaS is dying. We're covering why the economics of custom software have completely flipped, what you can build today with AI that used to cost $500K+, the real cost comparison between SaaS stacks and custom apps, and how we're positioning Perfect to build software for businesses, not just websites. This is the future of our company and honestly the future of how every business will operate. Comment if you want the deck and I'll send it over.

Nathan Ruff reposted thisNathan Ruff reposted thisTwo things that will dramatically change the trajectory of your company: 1. Large blocks of unscheduled time with no meetings so you can freaking think and do something that matters (the more days you stack the better). 2. Someone on your team that can keep up with you and push your vision beyond it's limits.

When someone needs a service in their area, they usually do the same thing — they search on Google. If your website and Google listing aren't optimized for local SEO, your business may never appear in those searches. That means potential customers are finding — and calling — your competitors instead. Local businesses grow when they show up where customers are already looking. Your website should clearly tell Google: • what you do • where you work • why customers should choose you When your local SEO is done right, searches turn into calls — and calls turn into new customers.
