Staying active is therefore no longer just a lifestyle topic, but a strategic factor in modern working life. Often underestimated: The problem is not sitting. It is static sitting. In everyday working life, the following applies: 👉 Too little physical activity reduces energy and performance 👉 Too much movement disrupts focus and productivity Active sitting addresses precisely this issue. It brings movement to where work actually takes place without causing disruption. Really important is: Ergonomics alone is not enough. A good chair is the foundation, but the real impact comes from the interplay of space, organisation, and working methods. In other words: A foosball alone does not make a good office. My conclusion: We need to think about work holistically – as a system that keeps people healthy and productive in the long term. Terry Carroll liked thisTerry Carroll liked this20 years ago, I thought mentorship meant finding someone older and wiser to tell me what to do. But was I right? Turns out, I was half right. Yes, learn from those ahead of you. But also learn from those beside you. And if you're brave enough - learn from those behind you. Some of my best insights have come from: → A 23-year-old analyst who saw patterns I missed → A frontline worker who understood the operation better than any exec → A spouse who asked the one question I was avoiding Wisdom doesn't require gray hair. It requires humility. The moment you think you've learned everything is the moment you stop growing. I've sat in boardrooms across continents. Seen a lot of things in this life. And yet, I still learn something new every week. :) Not because I'm smart. Because I'm surrounded by people who challenge me to think differently. So here's my challenge to you: Who's teaching you something this week? And are you humble enough to listen?
