Taylor Prouty

Moderated discussions of leadership in a group of eleven students. In these groups, Freshman students get to learn more about opportunities on campus and learn more about leadership from the experiences of a Senior student.

Hosted universities from across the SEC, at this exchange of ideas for Student Government leaders, as well as, assisted with conference planning and event management.

Membership is gained through exceptional volunteer experience and campus involvement.

Served as the student representative with other university officials to review policies concerning scholastic standards for admission, continuation, and graduation that affect all students and make recommendations to the senate.

Served a student representative with other university officials to conduct hearings into alleged violations of students and student organizations.

Served with other university officials to resolve and deny or approve student appeals for scholarship renewals,

Vice President Chapter Relations and Standards (January 2014- December 2014) - Updated and created new policies for chapter bylaws - Implemented a new Positive Points system that assesses members' attendance at chapter events and involvement on campus

● Responsible for the promotion of all Student Government news and events ● Created a new system for student feedback, AuburnAnswers.org, where students could file complaints and comments about campus, academics, dining, and campus transportation ● Lead a team of six students that were comprised of internal, external, and student feedback directors

Acclimated transfer students to Auburn’s campus life, academia, and policies during set orientation days
