300+ hours of service assisting with children’s programs and library maintenance.

Worked closely with the other teens on the Teen Leadership Council, as well as library staff to ensure clear communication between teen leadership and library management. Managed activities of other board officers and staff, including PR Officers, Webmasters, Secretaries, and program managers. Also oversaw all ATLC-sponsored programs, including the "Homework Buddies" program that paired high school tutors with younger students for weekly tutoring sessions.

The Ashburn Teen Leadership Council works with Loudoun County Public Libraries, specifically the Ashburn, VA branch, to improve the patron experience by creating programs for young children and publicizing library activities. One of our primary goals is to improve the library experience for teens, and to help them effectively utilize library resources.

Also led the Teen Reading Buddies program (weekly literacy program) with 20+ volunteers that pairs teen volunteers with young children to read together, encouraging a love of reading and books in young children.

Helped run other programs, including Summer Reading Programs, library card sign ups, and STEM activities for preschool aged children among others, and helps with library maintenance and administrative tasks.
