Stephen Morro liked thisGood morning “A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence.” I took this picture whilst out on one of my early morning walks. I decided to write this long & transparent post to hopefully appear on lots of peoples newsfeeds. Some would say “fishing” others would say innovative & creative but either way, with these crazy Covid times, I had to try and be different to stand out in order to market myself amongst employers & future connections. I am currently looking for an exciting new role as the effect of Covid on self employed recruiters has been devastating. I am ideally looking in the following areas; Travel Fundraising Corporate partnerships Business development Events Recruitment Sales Hospitality Charity (mental health) After a lot of soul searching & the ever changing covid world I have decided to pursue a new direction in my career. Since the loss of my Dad to lung cancer at 55 in 2014 I have definitely revaluated whats important in life, and that I have to do what’s right for me because time literally waits for nobody. What I may lack in experience in certain sectors, I more than make up for in personality, passion, hunger to succeed, tenacity and infectious ambition. Skills can be taught but personality, motivation and determination is everything.
