Stephen Griffin liked thisStephen Griffin liked thisI had the privilege of attending the MICHIGAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION, INC Conference May 11–13 at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. It was a productive event where Jenna Dudar and I had the opportunity to connect with so many great people throughout the funeral service industry. From the golf outing at Bucks Run Golf Club to the two-day conference, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. This conference means a great deal to me personally because my family has deep roots in the industry. My father John Desmond, a past president of the MFDA, was also in attendance. It was special to see him reconnecting with peers and longtime industry professionals. The conference also gave us the opportunity to showcase how Kapnick Insurance supports funeral homes, funeral directors, and industry suppliers through thoughtful risk management and insurance solutions for both P&C and Benefits. I’m grateful for the conversations, connections, and insights from the week, and I look forward to attending more MFDA events in the future.

The conversations have already moved well beyond experimentation or efficiency and into real reinvention. ✨ Second, that same energy, creativity, and urgency is flowing through the AWS teams right back to customers. You can feel the crackle in the air when builders and customers get together right now. Highly encouraging.
