Digit has always been the best way to automatically save money - whether it is for an emergency or goals that you're saving up to. However, as scientists, we always wondered if we could prove it. Causal proof in cases like this is difficult: we are deeply committed to helping all our members be financially healthy, and wouldn't consider a hold back sample. Instead, Anna Thompson on our Data Science team, along with Dan B. (our Head of Data) did a correlational study, working with partners at the Financial Health Network (a non-profit organization dedicated to issues of financial health), and showed two important things: 1. Automated savings work. Just turning it on saves an average of $217 per month. 2. More goals equals more savings. Each additional goal saves $79 over five months. On the ML Platform team, I had the opportunity to build the ML platform from the ground up, across distributed training, model serving, batch execution, experimentation, and observability, alongside a team I learned so much from. A special thank you to Spencer Barton and Smit Kiri, who have been there since the beginning of my time at Klaviyo. Thank you for the mentorship, the support, and the trust you placed in me as I grew on the team. You both taught me how to navigate ambiguity, make sound engineering decisions, and build with care. To the entire ML Platform team: thank you for the collaboration, feedback, humor, and support over the years. I feel lucky to have worked with such a sharp, thoughtful, and genuinely fun group of people. Platform work is collaborative by nature, and I want to thank the broader AI org and the many Klaviyos I worked with across teams, debugging, designing, and building together. I'm thankful for the people and the work, and excited for what's next!

Focused on helping our customers grow, we tackled challenging problems, had fun, and delivered solutions that mattered. What made this journey so exciting was the constant learning, personal growth, and working with amazing people who truly care about creating thoughtful, impactful products. I am really grateful for the friendships, the people I met, and the experiences along the way. Excited to watch Klaviyo continue to grow and to start my next chapter.

Flash forward 12 months later, and events like those, celebrating Founders like Luke, is what gave rise to the Massachusetts AI Coalition. We're pumped to have them on Team Massachusetts. They are a great example of a company building the future of smart home infrastructure right here in Massachusetts.
