- The next generation of technologists are starting their careers earlier each passing year
I've noticed young developers cutting their teeth on software development for the first time, only to crash into advanced issues like personal and consumer data privacy. Through CGC, I offer pro-bono consultation for developers that need a helping hand…Two competing forces have begun to collide:

- The next generation of technologists are starting their careers earlier each passing year
I've noticed young developers cutting their teeth on software development for the first time, only to crash into advanced issues like personal and consumer data privacy. Through CGC, I offer pro-bono consultation for developers that need a helping hand protecting themselves and the audiences they develop for against malicious actors and compromised data, assisting in privacy compliance (GDPR & CCPA) and structuring their startup businesses in a way to protect them from harm. -

Job Hunt Buddy v1.3: Adding Local Agents and Client-Side RAG. I recently open-sourced Job Hunt Buddy, a privacy-first alternative to tracking jobs in Excel. Today, I’m releasing V1.3, which shifts the app from a passive tracker to an active agent. The Big Technical Change: Client-Side RAG Most AI apps send your data to a vector database in the cloud. I implemented Local Embeddings using transformers.js. The app now chunks and embeds your resume, notes, and PDF docs directly in your browser (IndexedDB). This gives the AI "Long-Term Memory" of your career history without your data ever leaving your device. What the Agents can now do: 🕵️ The Research Agent: Don't just apply blindly. The app now has a built-in Web Agent (using Tavily) that researches companies and interviewers for you. - "Analyze this company's recent news." - "Find talking points for this interviewer." 🔎 Job Scout: Connects to Google Jobs (via SerpApi) to find roles that match your verified skills, not just keyword spam. 🤖 Career Coach: Scans your applications, identifies skill gaps, and suggests specific side projects to improve your odds. 🧠 Local Memory (Client-Side RAG): Most AI apps have "amnesia." I implemented Local Vector Embeddings (using transformers.js). The app now "embeds" your resume, notes, and job descriptions directly in your browser. It semantically searches your history to give context-aware advice without sending your entire database to the cloud.
