“Before we hired Nate, Valvoline was in need of a culture change in safety both in it's quick lube business and it's manufacturing areas. While safety was important there was a much needed, zero incident culture that needed to be developed. Nate was instrumental in institutionalizing that safety culture and taking Valvoline to the next level. Nate is not only technically very competent, he also has the ability to relate to all team members from the manufacturing floor to the board room in order to bring about lasting change. Not only helping them to improve the day to day safety issues, but also to challenge and inspire them toward a vision safety perfection. There are a lot of safety professionals that know their work and have an impact on the day to day, however, there are few that can combine that expertise to improve the day to day but to also drive a lasting and permanent change in safety culture. Nate is one of those professionals. I would highly recommend Nate for any organizational leadership role in EH&S. ”
