Sean Murray, CISSP posted thisMost airlines travel policies horrible getting worse. I just got back from vacation from Rome and Sardinia had about 4 flights for me and 4 for a friend totaling lots of money. Because I missed and didn't take a 250 dollar flight from one of my 4 legs they cancelled all the other 2 flights 1 to fly back from Rome to US ya lots of money. I figured ya non refundable for flight I missed not the remaining legs that cost a lot more. To make it worse i used same airlines to book 2 new tickets same day so i could fly with friend together. Italian Airways Orbitz they all are not doing well with customer service and just warning to others in my network realize they are doing this so for me I am going to start booking 1 way flights each time that way if something happens they don't screw you like they screwed me. Ya if you fly one airline have a million points not issue but when you travel to Europe ITA has monopoly in Italy and service sucked i would expect at least travel credit. Sorry so long but i was shocked and surprised at most airline policies like this they stink! #travel

Hope Rampy, commanding general of HRC, relinquished command, formally transferring leadership of the organization to Brig. Gen. Stephen King, deputy commanding general of HRC. The ceremony marked the conclusion of Rampy’s tenure and the beginning of her retirement after a distinguished Army career. Following the ceremony, Soldiers, Army civilians, family members, and teammates gathered for a retirement clap out to honor Rampy’s leadership, her commitment to Soldiers, and the lasting impact she has made on the organization and the Army. Congratulations, Maj. Gen. Rampy, on your retirement, and thank you for your dedicated service to the Army and the nation.

Carahsoft and Google Public Sector, along with so many of our amazing partners, came together to host the very first Gray Matters Invitational at Belmont Country Club. All proceeds for this event go directly to the National Brain Tumor Society, which seeks to conquer and cure brain tumors once and for all. Many of you know my husband suffers from this horrible disease, and our team Gray Matters was formed when he was first diagnosed. We’ve become active in raising research funding because often, it feels like the only way you can make an impact. We are so grateful for all of the support. To everyone who showed up, donated, or sponsored, it means more than you know. For those that know me, I am not usually speechless; but I was today when I saw the incredible turnout. May is also Brain Tumor awareness month, and while we always want you to #GoGrayInMay, this is your annual reminder that #GrayMatters 365 days a year. Together, we will find a cure.
