The DOW is building a digital marketplace for counter-small drone tech (focused on Groups 1 and 2), a significant step toward streamlining how drone tech startups plug into national security needs. For companies working in autonomy, sensing, or rapid prototyping, this could reduce friction with DOW procurement and unlock faster pathways to testing and deployment. The new Army-led task force could have the buying power of up to $50M per effort, potentially changing how counter-UAS solutions are sourced and scaled.
