If you've ever used AutoCAD, watched Avatar, or marveled at the VFX in Harry Potter and Marvel films, you've seen Autodesk's software at work. They build the design and engineering tools that architects, filmmakers, and manufacturers around the world rely on. I'll be working on the Customer Journey Data product, helping Autodesk's marketing teams with reporting and personalization. Excited to dive into a new domain after several years building enterprise data products in the supply chain space at Nike!

Ryan Lew reacted on thisRyan Lew reacted on thisA little over 30 years ago, I walked onto Nike’s campus to begin what would become one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. This week, that chapter came to a close — and what a run it has been. I was even inspired to start running myself! Together with so many talented teammates, we delivered solutions that shaped Nike’s future: ERP implementations across Supply Chain and Strategic Enterprise Capabilities, Planning tools, work with the NFL and NBA, and countless other initiatives — always with the Consumer at the center. The work was tough, but the culture and the people made it meaningful. My career took me around the world, from Asia to Europe, including a snowy go‑live at EHQ that I’ll never forget. Being side‑by‑side with the business has always been where the magic happens. To everyone I’ve worked with: thank you for the support, the collaboration, and the memories. And to those still pushing forward — I’m cheering you on. I’m taking some time to rest and reflect before stepping into whatever comes next. Let’s stay connected.

Ryan Lew liked thisRyan Lew liked thisThis is every Product Manager's relationship with Engineering. But honestly? The dynamic is changing fast. ⬇️ When I started in product, the lines were clear. PMs decide what to build. Engineers build it. That's not how it works anymore. I know PMs vibe coding prototypes before writing a spec. Engineers running customer calls. Designers shipping production code. The roles are getting blurry. And that's a good thing. Because the old model had a problem. The person deciding what to build and the person who understood what was possible were in different rooms, communicating through documents. It's like Goku and Vegeta. Rivals. Different styles. Hate each other. (Okay only Vegeta 😭) But the moment they learn from each other, they're unstoppable. The best teams I've worked with? Nobody cared who wrote the spec vs who wrote the code. Is the PM-engineering boundary getting blurry at your company?

Ryan Lew liked thisRyan Lew liked thisI'm doing the thing I never thought I'd do: leaving Google. To all of the Googlers: it's been an incredible 6 and half years working with all of you. You're curious, intelligent, caring, and all around wonderful people. Together we've navigated ambiguity, moved beyond spreadsheets, increased climate resilience, forecasted weather with machine learning, and started teaching AI how to do science. There was truly never a dull moment! You all have been so supportive and positive -- you're an amazing group of humans. I'll miss working with you. To the folks I worked with outside of Google during this time: thank you for all of the amazing collaboration! I enjoyed every interaction, and I learned so much from you. It was an honor. Ryan Lew liked thisRyan Lew liked thisI'm not one to post often on Linkedin , but some chapters in your career are just different.. like highlight worthy different. And this is one of them. After almost 3 years on the SEC program at Nike, and a year supporting store openings, this incredible swoosh chapter came to an end. The SEC program was one of the most intense, demanding, and rewarding experiences I’ve ever been part of — one of the largest SAP S/4HANA Retail implementations. I had the privilege of leading the Business Deployment PPM teams first across North America (2023-2025) and later across Europe, working through every phase of a massive transformation — from early planning and deployment decisions conversations, through endless cutover planning sessions, mocks, pilots (and remember PILOT is not a test!! haha), and ultimately reaching go-live on January 4th. It was the kind of program where the scale and complexity could easily feel overwhelming. But what I’ll remember most isn’t the system, the milestones, or the countless meetings. It’s the people. This was the kind of environment where collaboration wasn’t just a word — it was the only way forward. We were solving hard problems together, navigating pressure together, celebrating wins together. Somewhere along the way, I even forgot I was technically a contractor because I was so deeply in it with the Nike teams. That’s rare, and something I’ll always appreciate. Programs like this test you. They stretch you. They push you to grow in ways you don’t expect. And when you come out the other side, you realize you’re stronger for it. This experience gave me a level of confidence that’s hard to describe — the kind that comes from being in the trenches with incredibly talented people and delivering something truly complex together. It’s the kind of challenge that makes you feel like you can tackle whatever comes next. As I step into my next role, I’m excited to keep building on everything this experience taught me — leading complex programs, bringing teams together, and turning ambitious transformations into reality. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who was part of this journey — across Nike and the many teams around the world that made this transformation possible. You are all pure magic! Thank you. Bittersweet to close this chapter. But very excited for what’s ahead. 🚀

Ryan Lew reacted on thisRyan Lew reacted on thisToday marks my last day at PICKUP COFFEE. The past two years have been an incredible journey, taking the mobile app from zero to one and beyond. I’m proud of the team's achievements and their continuous contribution to the company. A big thank you to Diego Lorenzo and Jaime González Fernández for the chance to build the app and the team from the ground up. This was the opportunity of a lifetime. Thanks also to Miguel Mapa and Hans for your expertise and collaboration on the product side. The app wouldn’t be what it is today without your work. And to everyone at PICKUP COFFEE, both inside and outside the app team—past and present—thank you. It's been a privilege working with each of you. I’m looking forward to witnessing all the amazing things this company will continue to achieve!
