Getting to support a world-class event behind the scenes, be part of press conferences, and see the teamwork it takes to bring the World Cup to life was incredibly meaningful. I’m grateful for the dedicated volunteers and staff I worked alongside, the people I met, and the chance to play a small role in something so much bigger than myself. They will be the ones where discovery, data, and care delivery are already integrated into a single enterprise. At Duke Health, that academic and clinical integration is our foundation. It allows our patients to benefit not just from what medicine knows today, but from what it is becoming. In this important new role, Dr. Sai will guide the strategic vision and expansion of translational imaging across the enterprise. His primary focus will be to accelerate first-in-human investigations—moving research rapidly from the lab to the patient—while strengthening imaging research infrastructure and fostering collaborations across the Advocate Health enterprise.
