At a time when demand for medical school outpaces available enrollment opportunities, this partnership helps expand access for future physicians while creating a stronger talent pipeline for our communities. As a health system serving southern New Jersey — including Atlantic City, a community marked by both extraordinary need and untapped potential — we were proud to host this important meeting. We toured Atlantic City and then met with leaders across healthcare, government, education, and technology to discuss what’s working, and where federal policy can better support our needs. The conversation centered on the very real impact that cuts to Medicare and Medicaid will have in our communities and across the nation. Today was a powerful reflection of AtlantiCare’s role not only as a regional leader, but as a nationally recognized voice in healthcare.
