It doesn’t matter how much horsepower a car has—if it’s out of alignment, it won’t perform the way it was designed to. For me, alignment starts with faith, family, and friendships. Faith Grateful to God. Every opportunity, every open door, and every challenge that shaped me has been part of a bigger plan. My faith keeps me grounded, centered, and focused on what truly matters. Family & Friends Deeply thankful for my family and friends—you are my foundation. Your sacrifices, encouragement, and belief in me, especially through a challenging couple of years, mean more than I can put into words. Team & Leadership Incredibly grateful for the team and leadership around me. The talent, trust, and commitment you bring every day create momentum and allow us to stay focused on what matters most—serving our clients at the highest level. Clients To our advisors—thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your clients. There is no greater honor in this business than the trust you place in me to help you deliver for those who depend on you. There’s a great song by Luke Combs called “Without You,” and its message fits perfectly. Because truly—without the people around me, none of this is possible. Rex Moxley liked thisRex Moxley liked thisJust thinkin’ … The end of the year can sometimes feel loud. Deadlines pile up. Calendars taper. Tighten. Everyone wants closure, certainty, clean lines before ‘25 flips to ‘26. And then the holidays arrive with Uncle Chaos. In an RV. Traded it for the house … straight up. Reality reminds us not everything meaningful wraps up neatly. Some things are carried forward. Some things are still unfinished. Some things need time, not pressure. This time of year has a way of revealing what actually matters. At least to me. Not the plans that worked, but the folks who stayed on mission despite rough seas. The decisions and standards that held fast. The knees that didn’t bend when all would have been easier if they had. I’ve learned that strong years aren’t defined by constant progress. Fits and starts can signal the launch of a mighty thing too. A decision simplified instead of complicated. Recognizing reduction as progress. A hard “no” that protected energy and focus. A tough conversation that welcomed alignment back into the room. The holidays create a pause that most of the year doesn’t allow. Not a stop. A pause. Long enough to notice what actually carried the day during the last 360+ of them. And what cost more than I was willing to admit in the moment. As this year closes, I’m less interested in resolutions and more interested in responsibility. What do I carry forward on purpose? What do I leave behind without guilt? What do I protect for the people who trust me next year. The work will still be there. The terrain won’t suddenly flatten. But clarity tends to travel well across years. Wishing you more than a few quiet moments of perspective in the days ahead. And a steady start to whatever you choose to carry into the next one. Ever Onward. #Leadership #Clarity #Intent #DecisionMaking #Performance

Rex Moxley liked thisRex Moxley liked thisTexas v. Epic takes me back to the very beginning and my why. Epic’s restrictions on parental access to minors’ medical records. WHAT???? Born, raised, and living in Texas, my daughter was 13 yo when she suffered a TBI. Within 9 mos, she had amassed a team of 13 specialists between UTSW and Children’s Medical Center, the very BEST of the BEST! They were stumped and referred us to the Mayo Clinic in MN. Two things had to happen. 1. Mayo had to accept her case - they did! 2. We had to collect all of her medical records and send them to Mayo in preparation for our 7 day stay No problem, I retrieve medical records for a living, or so I thought… 4 weeks later and only 1 mo. until our trip to Mayo, I still didn’t have all of my daughter’s medical records for TREATMENT! What fresh hell was this?!?!? … 2 years later, Unit 387 was born. I should have put 2+2 together long before now, but the Texas lawsuit has uncovered yet another layer in a deeply troubling and persistent issue. Patients and providers alike cannot easily access the complete medical record when they need it most. Let’s fix this once and for all!!! https://lnkd.in/g84PEyZXAttorney General Ken Paxton Sues Major Medical Record Database for Gatekeeping Data and Restricting Parental Access to Children’s Medical RecordsAttorney General Ken Paxton Sues Major Medical Record Database for Gatekeeping Data and Restricting Parental Access to Children’s Medical Records

Rex Moxley liked thisRex Moxley liked thisI don’t remember the deadlines. I remember the people. I’ve spent my career building brands, directing shoots, and navigating the beautiful chaos of creative life. But when I look back, what rises to the surface isn’t the stress or the intensity or the pressure to prove myself over and over again. It’s the humans who shaped every chapter. Early in my career, I walked onto a Neiman Marcus photo set as part of an interview. I stayed to help. Then I came back the next day. A few days later, I had the job. But the job wasn’t what changed my life. The people I met there did. I think about the camaraderie on shoots, the friendships that began over prop tables and lighting tests, the mentors who appeared unexpectedly, the colleagues who became chosen family, and the teammates who carried each other through chaos with humor and grace. My most recent role was no exception. In the middle of wild timelines and constant pivots, we found joy. We laughed, created, supported one another, and built something meaningful — not just for the brand, but for each other. We may be spread across the country now, but the connection remains. Working, for me, has never been just about a paycheck. It has been about community. About showing up for each other. About learning and teaching. About the stories shared over lunches, late nights, and long shoot days. The work is what brought us together. The people are what made it unforgettable. To everyone who has been part of my journey — thank you. Here’s to the next chapter, and to the next humans I’ll get to create with. 🤍

Rex Moxley liked thisRex Moxley liked thisI’ve been fortunate to know a few extraordinary attorneys here in Dallas—professionals who consistently advocate for individuals who may not always have a voice. One of them is my husband, and the others have become trusted confidants who feel like family. Their dedication, compassion, and ethical leadership reflect the very best of the legal profession. I’m proud of who they are and the meaningful work they do each day. I feel honored to call them my friends and family. A special night celebrating bravery and justice for ALL — Onward! #aldouslaw #leallawfirm
