It'll save hours when you're unpacking. 🚚 Moving Tip #3 Book your movers as early as possible. Paul Durante reposted thisWhy is a Pre-Qualification or Pre-Approval Letter So Important in Today's Real Estate Market? In today's competitive market, having a pre-qualification or pre-approval letter is one of the first steps every serious homebuyer should take. ✅ For Buyers: It helps you understand your budget, strengthens your negotiating position, and shows sellers that you're financially prepared to purchase a home. ✅ For Sellers: Most sellers want assurance that potential buyers can obtain financing before accepting an offer. A pre-qualification letter demonstrates that you've already started the lending process and are a serious, qualified buyer. In many cases, an offer submitted without a pre-qualification or pre-approval letter may be overlooked in favor of a buyer who has already taken this important step. If you're thinking about buying a home and aren't sure where to start, I'm here to guide you through the process from beginning to end. #BetterCallPaul Your Connecticut Real Estate Resource #CTRealEstate #HomeBuying #FirstTimeHomeBuyer #PreApproval #ConnecticutHomes #RealEstateTips

Paul Durante liked thisPaul Durante liked thisHow do you stay relevant moving to your next professional stage? The conversation points were: - don't lower your bar, keep your high standards of self worth and transferable skills - be accessible, and visible. Remember, you can always say no with a boundary - a good friend said to me in a time of resetting, when in doubt raise your fee$, or in my case, the level of self actualization you are looking for because you don't want to be taken for granted or not treated with respect....bad omen. - you can never keep up with all of the new technologies or ideas, but you can with relationship skills, the business fundamentals and expertise with successful outcomes that all successful businesses need, to be aligned with where the train is honestly headed. - have broad knowledge with a lot of interests so that you can grow, exponentially and have a fulfilling life, because...no one wants to limit their shelf life - life is a roller coaster and you want the E ticket! That's #Leadership, #ChangeManagement and knowing when to #Pivot

Paul Durante liked thisPaul Durante liked thisA note to myself that I wish I read and remembered earlier in my career. Stop overthinking. If it's God's will, it'll happen, and nothing will stop it. For years I thought every closed door meant | had made the wrong decision. I replayed conversations, questioned opportunities, and carried pressure that I was never meant to carry. What | learned is that preparation is my responsibility. The outcome is not. The best leaders I've met don't waste their energy trying to control everything. They focus on showing up with integrity, doing excellent work, treating people well, and trusting that the right opportunities will arrive at the right time. Sometimes the promotion doesn't happen because something better is coming. Sometimes the deal falls through because it would have taken you away from your purpose. Sometimes the delay is protection, not rejection. Keep learning. Keep serving. Keep becoming the kind of person who is ready when the opportunity arrives. What's meant for you doesn't need to be chased in fear. It will meet you when preparation and timing come together. Keep going. Your next chapter may be closer than you think. - Rachel Mitchell ---- 🔺I shared this in my private executive newsletter. Paul Durante liked thisPaul Durante liked thisHere are 10 of the simplest ways for you to earn more income this week: Referral Fees Introduce a client to a consultant, agency, recruiter, lender, or service provider. Receive a referral fee only where it’s legal and disclosed. Common: 5%–20% of the first deal or a flat fee. Business Development Retainer Companies pay you a monthly retainer to consistently open doors to qualified prospects. Typical range: $2,000–$25,000+/month depending on your network and results. Advisory Board Position Become an advisor because your network accelerates growth. Compensation often includes cash, equity, or both. Recruiting Referral Fees Introduce executives or specialists to companies. Recruiters commonly pay thousands of dollars for successful placements. Investor Introductions Help founders meet qualified investors. In many jurisdictions, charging transaction-based compensation for securities introductions is regulated, so this should be structured carefully and with legal guidance. An alternative is an advisory retainer or equity for broader advisory services. Affiliate Partnerships Recommend software, AI tools, education, insurance, or business services. Earn recurring commissions when people sign up through your referral. Private Membership Community Charge members for access to curated introductions, networking events, and exclusive relationships. Recurring memberships create predictable revenue. Executive Matchmaking Match companies with agencies, fractional executives, board members, speakers, or vendors. Charge a matching or placement fee. Strategic Partnership Consulting Companies hire you specifically to identify partnership opportunities and make warm introductions. This often combines a monthly retainer with bonuses for successful partnerships. The highest-value introductions that typically command the greatest value are those that directly lead to: Revenue Capital Enterprise customers Strategic partnerships Executive hires Media exposure Distribution opportunities Acquisitions People generally pay for outcomes, not introductions alone. If you’re known for introducing the right people, there are many ways to turn that into income, while creating value for both sides. - Rachel Mitchell ---- 🔺I shared this in my private executive newsletter. Paul Durante liked thisPaul Durante liked thisFriday Sweat Deposit 💪 Did you negotiate with your temple this week? One of the books that has had a lasting impact on my life is The Slight Edge. Its message is simple but powerful: small, consistent actions create extraordinary results over time. The same is true for our health. Every workout is a sweat deposit. Every walk, every stretch, every healthy choice is an investment in the body that carries your soul. You don’t have to do something extraordinary today. You just have to do something. The challenge isn’t becoming perfect. It’s becoming consistent. Your future self is built by the deposits you make today. So before this week ends, ask yourself: Did I make a deposit into my temple today? Happy Friday. Your temple is worth investing in. #FridayMotivation #TheSlightEdge #SweatDeposits #Leadership #SelfLeadership #Health #Wellness #Consistency #PersonalGrowth
