This is why I always add a graph db to track sessions and prompts. It's even more complicated when you start having multiple people /agents generating ideas/data because branches get very complicated.

Kelly Goetsch Awesome to hear! I like the metaphor (it totally makes sense), but in the AI/corporate world, I'm not sure there are responsible adults monitoring and coming up with a plan.
It's feels a bit like (to go back to your metaphor)... many companies are doing the opposite "Oh great, she's working out, she benched with 2.5 lb dumbells, then went up to 5 lb dumbells a week later. That means next year she'll be throwing up 130lb dumbells (linear) or 11,258,999,068,426,240lbs (exponential).
Let's plan next year to buy a private island because she'll be winning every strongman competition in the world! The "straight line" and/or "exponential growth" weirdo predictions a lot of AI folks are assuming and/or planning is a bit... well weird. #math #hype #AI

It seems like a variation of "the cult of busy"....i.e. "how many lines of code/powerpoint slides/excel spreadsheets did you produce per hour" as a surrogate for effectiveness at solving problems. I've largely resigned myself to accepting this will have to reach "Peak Autogenerated Slop" before folks start to think about "is this useful and how?". It's not much different than "hey I've got a system with 30 services running in a single java process with a single database, how do I improve it?" -> "create 30 standalone nodejs process with 30-40 different databases + caches + Kubernetes + services mesh + log aggregator".... the problem solved? Job security for the IT team (or burnout). Value provided....well to the cloud provider you just bumped their revenue substantially, but most clients really only get a cost. Surprisingly this micrservices shenanigans still hasn't subsided, so IDK, maybe it's here for good now.
