“Megan has worked in the Developer Educator team at Apollo for over a year and reported to me. She started with a tall ask: create, with her two teammates, a complete new learning series on one of our most advanced products: Federation. She clearly articulated learning objectives, producing content and assessments on a complex and still-evolving technology, which required a lot of resilience and patience. She was instrumental in successfully shipping the most thorough and ambitious content we’ve produced on our learning platform Odyssey. In addition to producing self-paced learning material, Megan also has great abilities for live teaching. She’s had a clear success in preparing and hosting two workshop sessions (an intro to working on the backend with Apollo) at our annual user conference. I was impressed by how well she delivered that workshop and made it a truly interactive event with a large audience (>150 people). Keeping attendees engaged while also making sure the whole agenda was covered. Her preparation and care to deliver the best workshop experience made a real difference for the attendees, leading to excellent reviews. A final quality that made Megan a very valuable teammate in my eyes, was her ability to go deep, ask questions, and ensure we had all the understanding and clarity required before moving forward. That mindset led to concrete improvements in our content production and collaboration flow, both within the Developer Educator team and with external teams. I highly recommend Megan if you’re looking for a talented developer educator to train your users on complex technical topics.”
