Meaghan Finneral posted thisWe have been made aware that there are scammers impersonating Axon recruiters. They create fake gmail addresses and tell potential candidates that Axon is interested in having an interview. Their end goal is to extract payment for "resume reviews" and charge $350. After that they request additional money for other "services". Axon recruiters will never email from a gmail account or whatsapp. I'm sorry I have to write this, but these people are ruthless. If it's not coming from @axon.com it's fraudulent.

What started as a call about a flightless fugitive quickly turned into a full-on foot pursuit featuring evasive maneuvers, powerful talons and one very uncooperative emu. Cpl. Keisler of the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office remained calm, assessed the situation and took action. With a steady hand, a makeshift lasso and a pair of handcuffs, he safely restrained the bird and helped prevent injury to both the animal and the community. #AxonBodyCam #Axon #ProtectLife

Axon's mission ("Protect Life") strongly resonated. 2. Axon's values. "Expect candor" and "Win right" featured in all my discussions. 3. Genuineness of the discussions with the board members and management. 4. Axon's mix of businesses (hardware + software + services), tremendous growth record, and strong embrace of #AI. Having experience across all of these, I felt like I could contribute to this team. It was also interesting to note similarities between the two founder-led companies - Dell Technologies under the leadership of Michael Dell and Jeff Clarke, and Axon under the leadership of Rick Smith and Josh Isner. Both companies are leaders in their segments, have demonstrated a terrific growth trajectory, and still have a huge headroom for growth! Late 2025 I welcomed my son and life completely reoriented itself. I am so beyond blessed to be in a position to prioritize spending time with him and leave recruiting with a full heart. There are so many people that made my time at Axon special that I could not possibly tag you all. My managers, my teammates, my hiring partners- you have brought laughter, growth, and challenge that made every day one to look forward to. Michael S., Elizabeth Wilks, Ryan Johnson, Trish Lincoln you four have shaped my experience more than anyone and beyond this career, I have so much personal growth to thank you for. For my network, Hayley Porter (Magee) is taking the reins for Axon's VR hiring and I could not be more excited to see the growth I know she will bring to this beloved space. Meaghan Finneral liked thisMeaghan Finneral liked thisI'm convinced Drone as First Responder (DFR) will become an invaluable and standard part of safe law enforcement. Peter H. Diamandis spent minutes 21-29 of his podcast👇on some encouraging results from the field. The Orlando Police Department went live last month with eleven American-built Skydio drones flying out of nine rooftop docks. In their trial, a drone beat officers to the scene about a third of the time and gave dispatch useful information on a full 97 percent of calls. The drones get sharper information to officers sooner, so they can do the human part of the job even better. Officers safely see a situation before they walk into it. They know whether it's serious, minor, or a false alarm, and they match their response to what's actually there. Some people are wary now, but that was true of body cameras and TASERs too, in the community and inside law enforcement. Today almost nobody wants to give those back. When we listen to every side while we build, we get it right, and lives get saved. That happens because we aim for good policy and meet the community at the table from day one.
