Maggie Louie posted thisFirst, I wanted to assure friends who have been concerned over my lack of communication, that I am indeed alive and in Atlanta. I wanted to thank my friends who were able to find a way to contact me, in spite of my devices being tampered with & my extended stay at Emory University Hospital which limited me to very few channels I could access; I thank you for finding a way. This is one of the few social media channels I have regained control over. Quite embarrassing for someone in cybersecurity. But, we are all vulnerable to social engineering and hacks that prey on emotions not just technology —thus the need to stay ever vigilant. I have a health update as well. Unfortunately , my inflammatory breast cancer has metastasized to my hips legs and spine which has left me wheelchair bound- this has been the most challenging thing I’ve ever faced. I have much more I will be releasing in the weeks to come. About the company, about my condition, about my life and what I hope to make with the time I have left. Maggie Louie shared thisThank you friends who have been asking how I am and just showering me with so much love and kind thoughts. I’ll try to post a couple updates here or on instagram from time to time. Here’s the latest- I am in Florida and being lovingly cared for by my papa, my stepmother and loving girlfriend, Josie Jammet. It is unlikely that I will make it through June. I am in pain but thankfully as I said my loving family are caring for me as is the amazing hospice team I have here. I’ve prepared a farewell message to be posted by my family once I have passed. Feel free to send messages but please understand I’m spending every bit of energy I have with family & working to ensure that otto JavaScript Security otto-js will continue to thrive under new leadership of Wayne John Grundy otto’s new CEO who I hand picked for his incredible talent, years of experience and altruistic nature - so aligned with the vision and culture of otto. It’s been an incredible gift & honor to work with two of my very best friends Josh Summitt, CISSP, CEH, GPEN, GREM and Casey Hester for these last 7 years. I’ve been fortunate to have an amazing wild ride of a life, along with many careers. All I can say is, I’m looking forward to my new promotion.

Maggie Louie reacted on thisThis is a whole new world.Maggie Louie reacted on thisThe FBI has released PSA warning about all the ways that cybercriminals are using AI to commit fraud on a larger scale and to increase the success of their scams. The advisory warns about deepfaked videos and voice calls, as well as AI generated profile images to impersonate people. Among their recommendations: -Create a secret word or phrase with your family to verify their identity. -Look for subtle imperfections in images and videos, such as distorted hands or feet, unrealistic teeth or eyes, indistinct or irregular faces, unrealistic accessories such as glasses or jewelry, inaccurate shadows, watermarks, lag time, voice matching, and unrealistic movements. -Listen closely to the tone and word choice to distinguish between a legitimate phone call from a loved one and an AI-generated vocal cloning. -If possible, limit online content of your image or voice, make social media accounts private, and limit followers to people you know to minimize fraudsters' capabilities to use generative AI software to create fraudulent identities for social engineering. -Verify the identity of the person calling you by hanging up the phone, researching the contact of the bank or organization purporting to call you, and call the phone number directly. -Never share sensitive information with people you have met only online or over the phone. -Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or other assets to people you do not know or have met only online or over the phone. To this list, I would add something I have tried to do with those in my immediate orbit who need a little more help against scams and spams: Set their phone so that incoming calls are limited to people on their contacts list; all the rest go to voicemail. At this point, we are way beyond expecting everyone to be experts at spotting fake this or that. https://lnkd.in/gS9NRmdX

She is highlighted as one of the five Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University alumni who have contributed to impactful innovations boosting their professions and industries. She said the impact of her education at ASU has driven her to return to work each of the three times she has retired. Fralick intends to contribute to advances that align with ASU's efforts to develop artificial intelligence's abilities to improve health care.
