Part 3...
In the year 2026, where is the connection between a candidate, a recruiter (who is needed and vitally important to bridge the gap of expectations), and the company. There are some platforms out there that try, but I think they miss the mark.
The hiring market is like the wild west. There is an unprecedented number of highly skilled talent out of work. There is an unbelievable number of recruiters who are also with out agency or employer, as a result of the current corporate reorganizations. And yes, there are companies in abundance that want to hire real people for real roles really.
It's time for a shakeup. As I said in the start of this part, it's 2026! A recruiter, a candidate, and a company should be able to find each other in any combination without having to spend thousands.
And that my friends is my half heated and half serious thought to remake Dice is actually coming to fruition. Let me introduce you to Employment Networks.
What is Employment Networks? It's a connected network of applications that empower recruiters, candidates, and companies to actually connect. It's where a company can post ALL their roles for 100% free. It's where candidates can find their next job for $0. And it's where recruiters can help the two combine for $0 and receive transparent commissions.
Candidates go to
https://applicant.network and build their profile, upload their resume and apply for jobs or find a recruiter to help you find fitting jobs.
Recruiters go to
https://splits.network and build their profile and join the marketplace furthering their online footprint. On splits, a recruiter can find roles for candidates or candidates for roles. Connect with a business and represent them in their candidate campaign, or connect with candidates to represent them in their job hunt. This is a cool feature: we don't care where you do this from, whether the beach, the golf course, or on top of a mountain (you will need cellular service). No suit and tie required.
Companies go to
https://splits.network and start building roles. Connect with some marketplace recruiters or directly with talent. You choose. Now this how this platform works. This is a recruiter based system, so just like with TekSystems or Robert Half, there are commissions that a company pays for a role to be filled on the platform. The typical 15%-25% is recommended, and as such gets you higher recruiter interest. But, and this is a big but, there is no minimum, nor a maximum.
Here is the kicker: The platform offers the whole commission to the recruiters. 100% of the commission can go to the recruiters involved in fulfilling the role.
This next piece is a feature of the platform that could really change the stability of income for recruiters. When a recruiter sources a candidate to the platform, the recruiter is listed as the "sourcer" and will receive upto 10% for any placements this candidate has, whether today, or 3 years from today.
