Debuting with a hype video and omnichannel marketing, this initiative aims to transform traditional birthday parties into culture-led, main-character milestones. "Birthday Like a Boss" is designed to make the birthday star feel like the true guest of honor, putting them at the center of the action with exclusive perks, swag, and privileges (plus a few extras for their party crew). We are delivering a trend-forward, frictionless experience for parents while simultaneously delivering an impressive experience that gives their child the VIP treatment they crave. 🎂 We're also partnering with kidfluencers on their ultimate Sky Zone party experience, and we're excited to kick off with viral sensation The Rizzler, a frequent Sky Zone jumper and brand enthusiast, as our first party ambassador. 👏 A few teams to thank: First, huge kudos to our agency partner TMA, for bringing this cool concept to life from ideation to development. Our media agency, Acadia, for bringing it out into the ecosystem. Our Sky Zone Franchisees and GM community for bringing to life in the parks, and, of course, the rest of Sky Zone corporate for helping us activate across the system. One easy answer for me: Kendra Spencer. I've hired / worked with Kendra three times. First as Director of Local Marketing at Sky Zone, where she was recommended to me and quickly showed why. She had a rare ability to build genuine trust with franchisees and, when needed, deliver honest feedback they'd actually hear. Next as VP of Field Marketing at TITLE Boxing Club, where she raised the bar on the quality of guidance provided to the franchisee network. Most recently, I recommended her to my former boss for the VP of Marketing role at The NOW, a consulting client of mine, because some people are just too good not to bring along. "Who would you choose to have in the trenches with you?" is extra apropos. Kendra started her career serving in the US Army. Plus we've chosen to work together in the uniquely challenging world of retail franchise marketing: fast turns, often high emotion, and constant same-store-sales pressure. It was great to catch up in person when she was in LA this week. Kendra, you're one of the best teammates ever. Grateful our paths keep crossing! 🙏
