From taking a drone photo of our faculty retreat to watching ASTRO demonstrate robotics to prospective students, every moment reinforced that our strength comes from combining technical excellence with human connection. This year marked significant growth for our Georgia Tech School of Building Construction: • Expanded student opportunities through new international programs and industry partnerships • Launched innovative study abroad initiatives in South Korea • Strengthened our Corporate Partners Program with leading construction firms • Enhanced our robotics and technology integration in construction education • Welcomed record participation in our Pre-College Summer Program Three moments that captured our journey: "Today is a bright new day in Atlanta, and in the Georgia Tech School of Building Construction." This one has been a long time coming!Lan Lou liked thisThis past Friday, the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) celebrated the groundbreaking of its first dedicated building for the College of Medicine after over a century of existence. Located at the corner of two prominent streets in Charleston's medical district, this state-of-the-art facility is set to transform medical education and enable MUSC to expand its class size to help meet the growing demand for physicians across South Carolina, marking a significant step forward in training future medical professionals. Construction of the 186,000 square-foot building is now underway, and the building is expected to open in Summer 2027. Special thanks to our incredible partners on the project, Liollio Architecture.
