“Kyle proved to be a far more valuable Assistant Chief Clerk (ACC) to the organisation than what I had expected him to be, when I first came into this job. As an ACC, he has performed well in his responsibilities which consisted of working with a shared administrative support team of 7 to 9 Admin Support Assistants to contribute to the smooth functioning of the Instructional Design and Development (IDD) Branch by managing and coordinating its administrative functions which included technical support for IDD Branch's facilities and equipment, information dissemination and more importantly, full spectrum administration of Learning Management System (LMS) Portal for electronic Professional Military Education and Training (ePMET) courses for around 500 participants as well as National Institute of Education (NIE) Learning Science Programmes for close to 60 participants. Beyond that, he has identified numerous opportunities for innovation and implemented various effective methods to improve work practices which included; leveraging on electronic spreadsheet programmes to achieve a 90% reduction in time required to perform data-searching through large list of course participants (with their corresponding modules) for verification purposes, coming up with a time-effective method of transferring large files and folders on shared drives to an Enterprise Repository System thus achieving more than 95% in amount of time saved per transfer, constructing an innovative way to reduce the turnaround time to less than 5% of the usual amount of time taken to reset passwords and activate account for LMS users. He is a fast learner and is able to work independently with minimal supervision. I would clearly recommend him as a highly innovative individual.”
