Last year, I accepted a full-time offer to join Oracle after graduation. It felt like the beginning of everything I had worked so hard for as an international student. I was excited, grateful, and finally felt like I had some stability after years of working toward this moment. Then on March 31st 2026, just four weeks before graduation, my offer was rescinded as part of company-wide changes. Because I am an international student, this was not just a career setback. It changed everything. I had also been selected in the H-1B lottery, but once the offer was rescinded, that opportunity could no longer move forward. I received my OPT approval, but without a job, I have not been able to fully use it the way I hoped. The past few months have been some of the hardest months of my life. I spent countless late nights applying to jobs, preparing for interviews, pulling all-nighters, trying to stay strong, and doing everything I could to keep moving forward. I made it to final rounds. I kept showing up. I kept trying. And still, I kept receiving rejections. At some point, I had to make another plan. I began applying to graduate programs, even though by then, many scholarship deadlines had already passed because of how late my offer was rescinded. By God’s grace, I was accepted into Rice University’s Master of Computer Science program. This is an incredible opportunity, but it also comes with a major financial burden. The total cost of the program is about $85,000, and right now I am trying to raise support for my first semester, which is about $30,000. I have never wanted to be in a position where I had to ask for help like this, especially so publicly. But I also know that sometimes being brave means being honest about where you are and allowing people to support you. I am still hopeful. I still believe everything will work out. I am still applying, still preparing, still trusting God, and still doing my part. If you are able to support, donate, or share, it would mean more than I can put into words. Before semiconductors, I was just considered an athlete: 🏅 Big Ten Champion 🏅 NCAA All-American (Top 5 nationally) 🏅 PR of 7ft 2.5in at NCAA Nationals But I knew my real competition wasn’t on the track—it was in technology. For the last 14 years, I’ve built my career in semiconductors, selling millions in chips and IP, quietly building expertise. Now, I’m back in a familiar position: up against some of the biggest competition in the world. Only this time, it’s in silicon. At Lola Vision Systems, we’re designing AI chiplets and SoCs for defense, aerospace, and automotive. Production: 2027. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes discipline, endurance, and the ability to perform under pressure—traits I mastered as an athlete and carry into this journey as a founder. The timing is right. The mission is urgent. And I’m ready to execute for my family, my community, and the future of trusted U.S. semiconductor leadership. Grateful for the recognition—and excited for what’s ahead. Through months of applying, facing rejection after rejection. I continued to keep my faith in God and trust His timing. There were moments of uncertainty and a lot of dark nights, but through God's grace and guidance, He blessed me with opportunities that I'm truly grateful for. This past week, I concluded my time as an Operations Assistant with the PGA of America. During this time, I learned all the ins and outs of what is required to build a major championship event from the ground up. I supported day to day logistics, coordinated with vendors, and set up an event space for over 200,000 spectators across the globe. Thank you to Max Budzar and Tyler Curtis for the opportunity. I learned so much in a short amount of time and that was because of your guidance and support. And now I'm excited to announce that I have accepted a Ticket Sales Representative role with the Memphis Grizzlies. I'm beyond thankful for this opportunity, and I plan to give it everything I have. Thank you to my friends and family who continuously encouraged me, supported me, and poured life into me throughout this journey. A special thank you to Josten Boyer and C.J. Kylan Duncan shared thisTwo years ago, I left the University of Texas at Austin before completing my degree. As someone who placed a lot of emphasis on education in the past, I never expected to take a break from school. However, doing this gave me the space I needed to grow as an engineer. During this time, I focused on completing several full stack projects from end to end, which can be found on my portfolio, cloudydaiyz.com. And now, I'm excited to announce that I've accepted an offer to join IBM as a Software Engineer in Massachusetts this upcoming Fall! I'm extremely thankful for the support of my family and friends during this time as I never could've done this without them. I also want to give a huge thanks to Bryce Harris and Helah P., as I couldn't have asked for anyone better to work with. There's a long road ahead of me. I still value my education, and don't plan to end my educational journey here. But, for now, I look forward to taking the next steps in my career.

I'm incredibly excited and grateful to share that I'll be joining Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Network Deployment Planner in Herndon, Virginia! For those who may or may not know, since December 2024, I've been actively pursuing the next step in my career by applying for opportunities, attending conferences, networking with professionals, continuously learning, and challenging myself to grow. There were moments when I questioned what was next, but God continued to remind me through Psalm 138:8 that He was still working, even when it became difficult. "The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever." — Psalm 138:8. This verse became a constant reminder to trust God's timing, remain faithful, and keep moving forward even when the path wasn't clear. I'm incredibly grateful to my family, friends, mentors, professors, colleagues, and everyone who has supported, encouraged, and prayed for me throughout this journey. Your guidance, advice, and belief in me have truly made a difference. I'm excited to begin this next chapter with AWS, continue learning from some of the brightest minds in the industry, and contribute to the teams building and scaling the infrastructure that powers millions of customers worldwide. This is only the beginning. I'm excited for what's ahead and grateful for where God is leading me.

I entered into UT Austin with the passion of helping future generations and families, but over time I learned that I can make a greater impact. During my undergraduate career I read multiple case studies regarding children healthcare and current operations and ethics of different healthcare systems. I reflected upon my strengths and different fields that I have worked in, especially at my time as an intern as an office RA with Project DUAL. My experience behind the sciences of research helped me realize that can excel in this field while also making an impact. With that being said, I’m excited to announce that I’m furthering my education at Georgia State University - J.
