A key takeaway: strong communication and collaboration across teams are essential to keep everything running smoothly. The intern team also kicked off our summer capstone project. Kurt Wolf liked thisKurt Wolf liked thisA project of this scale doesn’t happen without an incredible team behind it. After months of planning, problem solving and hard work on our new manufacturing plant, we paused for an appreciation lunch to celebrate the people who helped make it happen. Employees also took part in a beam signing, adding their names to a structural beam from the original building that symbolizes the foundation of the project. It will serve as a lasting reminder of the teamwork, dedication and countless hours invested in bringing HCL® Manufacturing in Circleville from vision to reality. We're filled with gratitude for the employees whose dedication brought this facility to life and for the many supporters who have cheered us on every step of the way. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Together, we've built more than a manufacturing plant — we've built a foundation for the future. #HCLManufacturing #Manufacturing #ProgressCircleville #CirclevilleOhio

Kurt Wolf liked thisKurt Wolf liked thisWhat an incredible week at GS1 Connect! 🌟 I am still buzzing from the energy and high level of engagement at our panel session, "A New Era of RFID in Healthcare." It’s clear that the industry is ready to break down silos and embrace a scalable, source-tagged future. We packed the room to talk about how turning every vial into a "source of truth" right at the point of manufacture is moving the needle on clinical efficiency and, most importantly, patient safety. A massive thank you again to my phenomenal co-panelists for such a candid and insightful conversation. If you're ready to dive deeper into the data, check out our newest global study commissioned by Avery Dennison. We surveyed 5,000 patients, revealing the hidden commercial risk of drug identification failures. 👉 Read the full study here: https://avydn.co/4uPG6Kw

Kurt Wolf liked thisKurt Wolf liked thisOur team recently attended Epicor Insights in Nashville, where we learned new strategies to drive growth and manage workflows using Prophet 21, Epicor’s business management software. Across the conference, we took part in educational sessions with industry experts, hands-on activities that helped reinforce key concepts and conversations with peers. The energy in every room made it easy to connect, compare notes and see how others are tackling similar challenges. Those discussions continued well beyond the meeting rooms. To close out the event, attendees enjoyed a concert by Miranda Lambert and line dancing lessons led by a professional instructor. It was a fun way to keep conversations going and strengthen connections within the Epicor community. #ERP #operatingsoftware #professionaldevelopment

Kurt Wolf liked thisKurt Wolf liked thisHealthcare has a data problem — but not the one most people think. It isn't a shortage of data. Connected devices, RFID readers, IoT sensors, and clinical systems are generating more data than most health systems know what to do with. The problem is that almost none of it is being treated as a strategic asset. I've been working through Rewired by Eric Lamarre, Kate Smaje, and Rodney Zemmel — McKinsey's playbook on technology-led transformation — and one chapter keeps pulling me back. Their argument on embedding data everywhere is blunt: most organizations collect data as a byproduct of operations. The ones that win treat data as the product itself. In connected healthcare operations, the gap between those two postures is enormous. A hospital might have real-time visibility into the location of every surgical instrument, implant, and high-value supply in the building. That data exists. It's flowing. But ask who owns the insight that data should be generating — who is responsible for turning location data into decisions about par levels, vendor performance, or procedure cost — and the answer is usually nobody in particular. Rewired calls this the difference between data availability and data activation. Availability is infrastructure. Activation is strategy. And most healthcare organizations have invested heavily in the former while barely touching the latter. The practical implication is straightforward but uncomfortable: buying connected technology doesn't make you a data-driven organization. Deciding in advance what decisions that data will improve — and building the people, processes, and accountability to act on it — is what actually moves the needle. The health systems pulling ahead right now aren't the ones with the most sensors on the wall. They're the ones who figured out what question they were trying to answer before they bought anything. What's the biggest gap you see between the data your organization generates and the decisions it actually improves? #HealthcareData #IoT #ConnectedHealth #DigitalTransformation #HealthcareOperations #Rewired #DataStrategy #RFID
