Just spent time with the ZoomInfo team in San Francisco talking about a play that 90% of B2B companies still miss: Using your inbound signals to fuel strategic outbound. Here's what most teams do wrong: They treat inbound and outbound like two separate universes. Marketing owns one. Sales owns the other. Never the twain shall meet. They never leverage eachother. Meanwhile, your best prospects are literally telling you what they care about through their inbound behavior. The Hidden Gold in Your Inbound Data: • That whitepaper download? Shows exactly what problem they're trying to solve (can then be used to send outbound to similar prospects) • Those 3 people from the same company visiting your pricing page? Active buying committee forming • That competitor comparison page view? They're evaluating options RIGHT NOW (but also which one gets the most traffic, might be a 8 mile objection you can get ahead of) But here's where it gets interesting... That's why their GTM Co-pilot changes the game entirely. Instead of cold outreach into the void, you're reaching out with context: "Hey Sarah, noticed your team downloaded our ROI calculator last week. Most RevOps leaders use that when building their 2025 budget case. Happy to share how similar companies justified the investment..." That's not spam. That's helpful. It's relevant. Based on signals not only from THEIR company, but signals you're seeing in the market. Stop treating inbound and outbound like enemies. Start treating them like dance partners. Learn from each side. Through a simple asset purchase via “Buy it Now”, their business is now directly associated with category ownership every time the exact match asset is viewed by your target market. Exact match domains follow the timeless formula: when a user’s intent is “I NEED X,” the very first company they should think of is “YOURS”. There is no other business asset that instantly and effectively addresses this challenge. Understandably, only industry leaders are astute enough to own digital assets that define the category competing in as is consistently demonstrated by leading market-driven organizations. It’s too late to tell the C-Suite that you have been unaware of the relevance of category defining, exact match domain names. That you did not understand the advantages specific to brand protection, brand augmentation, and industry leadership. That you were unaware of the availability of digital assets definitive of the category competing in. Or that you let a competitor acquire some, or all, of the most relevant assets, leaving your employer exposed to great financial risk.
