We're so excited to announce that Fab Lab El Paso's Frontiers in Flight: Aeronautics STEM Program for Regional Talent Pipeline has been selected for $250,000 from NASA STEM funding! This national recognition from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration affirms our commitment to advancing STEM education through maker mindset, hands-on learning, and real-world application. As our NASA partnership continues from #CommunityAnchor to #STEMInnovator, we’ll have the opportunity to expand our Makers in Motion initiative, a groundbreaking program connecting students to the world of aeronautics, engineering, and innovation through cross-sector learning design and development, design challenges, mobile maker kits, and site visits to Innovation Factory and NASA JSC AOD at the El Paso International Airport - ELP. Through this award, we’re forging stronger pathways for El Paso’s youth to engage with the future of aerospace—and to see themselves as the next generation of scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers.
