Hi Everyone! After 33.9 years with RTX, I decided to retire.... so excited to reinvent myself again.... I am so deeply grateful for my team, my colleagues, my friends, my partners (including amazing suppliers), and RTX. You are family to me. After nearly 30 years, I am retiring from RTX/UTC to move on to my next chapter and as I reflect on my career over these last few decades, I feel deeply grateful for the remarkable and fun ride this has been.   Starting with my co-op at Pratt & Whitney way back in 1996 to my first 'real, grown-up' engineering job in what was then Hamilton Standard (where I got to design components for the International Space Station - still the coolest thing I ever did if you ask my kids); from discovering my love for Program Management and General Management and being trusted to lead teams of thousands of talented, dedicated people at multiple sites in parts of the business like Actuation and Fire Protection; to discovering the joy of leading Strategy teams and helping our organization to consider the big picture whether that meant international dynamics, sustainability, digitalization, or any of the other big topics that make working in Aerospace so dynamic and exciting every day.     In addition to working on fun and interesting assignments, I had the opportunity to live in different places as the company moved me and my family around, including as an ex-pat. I was able to use the employee scholar program to get 4 of my 5 degrees (I wonder if that's a record for that program?). I've gotten to travel the world and experience different cultures. I’ve been honored to support the US military with programs that help them in their critical mission. I’ve loved the excitement of chasing and capturing the next big win. I've felt immense personal pride from being among the founders of the WILL Rise program.    Through all of this - as I've changed business units and roles more times than I can immediately recall - I have always been able to learn, to grow, and to do things I loved. I'm not sure how many people can say that but I do know that I have been blessed with the opportunities I've had here.   And yet, as grateful as I am for all of these experiences, I have also come to realize that getting to do things I enjoy personally isn't actually what has mattered the most to me or what I will take away from this time. Because far more than what I have done, I am mostly - deeply and profoundly - grateful for the people I have done it all with; for the colleagues and friends who have made this journey so incredibly rewarding and just plain fun. You are what fill me with gratitude today as I look ahead to new adventures for myself and wish you all good things on your journeys. Thank you all!     PS I thought it would be fun to post a picture from my first day of work but sadly couldn't find one so instead I offer a picture from one of my earliest business trips as a newly minted Program Manager long, long ago.

I am honored and excited to share that I have been appointed to the role of Yum! Brands Chief Supply Chain Officer.  The creation of this role and an aligned Yum! Brands! Global Supply Chain function signals our commitment to reinvention for greater growth. We have identified potential to fuel Yum! Brands!’s ambitious growth and radically improve franchisee economics by leveraging our global scale and strengthening our supplier partnerships. I am also thrilled to announce the members of our newly formed Global Supply Chain Leadership Team (Lindsay Bjorhus, Samuel Fitchett, Marc Hayes, Beth Kennedy, Shari Malan, Paul-Maarten von Zeuner, and Nancy Xu). These team members will lead the work of ensuring a resilient, future-ready supply chain to meet the needs of our business in an ever-evolving world.  It's an exciting time for us at Yum! Brands, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to lead our incredible Yum! Global Supply Chain team. We are looking forward to fueling Good Growth for our customers, team members, and franchisees.
