Paul Kellam Sr. liked thisPaul Kellam Sr. liked thisThis past week in Denver at the NHL Club Business Meetings, I was excited to accept the Stanley for Ticketing Initiative of the Year alongside Doug Bentz The Stanleys recognize Clubs that exemplify excellence, innovation, and creativity, and it's an honor to see our record setting Holiday Fees on Us campaign recognized at that level. What makes this achievement especially meaningful is that it truly was a team effort. This campaign came to life through the collaboration of our Ticket Sales & Service, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Hockey Operations, and many other departments, all working toward a shared goal. It's a great reminder of what's possible when talented people come together, challenge ideas, and support one another. Awards like this are never about one individual they're a reflection of the people behind the scenes who bring creativity, insight, and dedication to everything they do. I'm grateful to be part of a team that continues to raise the bar and push each other to be better. This recognition is something to celebrate, but it's also an exciting reminder of what's ahead. I am thrilled to share that I have officially completed my six-week initial Crew Scheduling training class here in Dallas with Southwest Airlines. I am so thankful and grateful for this opportunity. The last six weeks have been a real roller coaster of emotions...from packing up and transferring to Dallas just two weeks after getting the promotion, to the intense training, classwork, and studying. I also had to endure many unexpected mechanical issues with a car I’d only owned for two months, all while traveling back and forth to California every weekend to fulfill prior obligations. If there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s that we can overcome anything with the grace of God. I am incredibly excited to be a part of the huge company transformation currently happening at Southwest Airlines, and it’s an honor to be right in the center of it all at our Network Operations Center (NOC) at Headquarters. It is truly amazing to pull back the curtains and see the entire airline operation in real-time. I have a whole new respect for the people who work behind the scenes 24 hours a day to keep this airline running, and I feel truly blessed to be working and learning alongside some of the smartest people you’ll ever meet. I’m looking forward to an exciting rest of 2026! Thank you to everyone who supported me along this journey over the past few months. A special thank you goes to my wife and best friend, Casanya Ursery ..none of this would have been possible without her blessings and support. ❤️
