Kavitha Sivakumar reacted on thisKavitha Sivakumar reacted on thisWell, it’s been a hell of a ride.. After nearly 6 years, I’ve made the tough decision to close this chapter at Tesla. Showing up as employee #2 on the PC team and a dirt construction site, to now a 15,000+ employee and 11M+ sqft powerhouse factory - everything in between has been nothing short of intense but extremely fulfilling. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the smartest and most innovative individuals I’ve ever met - launching 3 new vehicle programs, 10+ new product launches, and well over 500K vehicles produced. None of this can be accomplished alone, and will always serve as a testament that anything is possible when you have the right people working towards a shared goal. Big thanks to Shane Ireland for the leadership and experiences over all these years, and to my entire team for the opportunity to lead you through everything we’ve built together. While this decision was bittersweet, I’m very excited for what’s next!

As a double mechE, being recognized by ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) means a lot. This is the home society. I grew up in India and moved to the U.S. for grad school at Northeastern University where I learned about smart factories, which led me to Tesla. Now I'm drawn towards physical AI, which I believe is the next inflection point for mechanical engineers. I spend my days deploying AMRs, building standards and researching Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC). The goal is Autonomous factories. That's what I’m building. To the students and early-career folks in my network: this recognition belongs to the problems worth solving, more than the resume. Find your niche. Go deep. Give back!! Thank you ASME. After years of hard work, discipline, perseverance, and sacrifice, seeing her reach this milestone is truly one of the greatest joys and proudest moments of my life. As a father, you eventually realize that the greatest legacy we leave behind is not found only in professional achievements, but in the values, education, resilience, and example we pass on to our children. Ale, thank you for your beautiful words and for reminding me that every sacrifice is worth it when you see your children grow into extraordinary human beings, prepared to face life with passion, purpose, and heart. Yesterday marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new journey full of opportunities. Congratulations, hija. Alejandra Corro I will always be proud of you.

My session will focus on moving beyond robots as standalone tools, instead reframing them as a core infrastructure layer. We’ll dive into how to integrate AMRs with existing factory systems, bridge the gap between legacy hardware and modern analytics, and drive measurable gains in throughput and safety. Kavitha Sivakumar reacted on thisKavitha Sivakumar reacted on thisHad the opportunity to meet Jay Vijayan (CEO, Tekion Corp & former CIO at Tesla) at PSG College of Technology’s 75th Alumni Jubilee. We spoke about Tesla's in-house ERP system built in about 3 months and still in use today. What stood out was his emphasis on keeping things simple while building for scale. It’s easy to overcomplicate systems early on, but that usually doesn’t hold up as things grow. We also briefly spoke about the early days of Fremont production and the kinds of decisions that shaped it. Also briefly met Vanitha Kumar (VP, AI at Qualcomm), along with several other industry leaders, startup founders, VCs, Academic leaders from PSG. The event also had panel discussions on topics like AI for productivity and building and investing in startups. Overall, it was a great experience! These interactions reminded me of the gap between where I am and where I want to be is not talent, it’s exposure, learning, and execution. The synthesizer was fully implemented on FPGA and does not require any external analog components. Selective over-sampling and tapped delay line are used to reduce jitter and improve spectral performance.

The original approach to concurrent optimization of the transmitting and receiving parts of adaptive communication systems (CS) with feedback channels. The results of research by C. E. Shannon c.1948 show a possibility and the way of designing the systems transmitting the signals with a bit rate equal to the capacity of the forward channel under given bit-error rate (BER).

Project on Automatic Sleep Spindle Detector
The accurate identification of sleep spindles in a polysomnographic signal is essential for detection of Stage 2 sleep and are indicators for neurodegenerative disorders. The conclusions of this project allows for an alternate to visual spindle scoring which is a tedious workload. The short time fourier transform approach was used in this project.
