Jonathan Arias shared thisJonathan Arias shared thisHey LinkedIn! I have some exciting news to share. #Matterkind is looking to hire Associate Trainees for our Matterkind’s Ascend Program across 3 regions: NYC, Detroit, and Chicago! What is the Matterkind Ascend Program? -The Program provides hands-on experience, ongoing training, and development within our Programmatic Addressable Strategy and Activation Teams. -All Associate Trainees are full-time employees, after 6 months of training they are promoted to Associate level (this comes with a salary increase)! This is a great program for all candidates who are looking to break into the Programmatic industry. We are open to recent grads or tenured candidates who are eager to learn more about the Media Ecosystem and the Media Campaign Lifecycle. Benefits of working at Matterkind? - Unlimited time off (we actually take the days here) - Generous holiday schedules including "Kind Days", a summer break, week off before Xmas into New Year which totals 24 days off for everyone! - Numerous opportunities to continue to learn/grow (we have an entire site dedicated to this called GROW) If you are interested or know someone who may be a good fit, feel free to reach out to me via LI or email at Christina.Saunders@kinesso.com #wearehiring #wearematterkind #wearegrowing

Jonathan Arias shared thisJonathan Arias shared thisI would like to share a project that I worked on along with my team members Sahana Sundar and Ranveer Singh called "Signify". The project focuses on making Video calls more accessible by helping Sign language users communicate to other non-sign language users. Sign language used: Indian Sign Language Reference Source: https://lnkd.in/gycZj82i This project was an academic project created by UX Design students. It's a UX Design concept/idea of what additional features a video calling application can include. Signify is a concept for an extension for video calling applications, specifically Microsoft teams #microsoftteams #videocalling View the whole project here: https://lnkd.in/gTrzB27H #interactiondesign #userresearch #userexperiencedesign

Jonathan Arias shared thisif you or someone you know is looking to hire for an entry level software engineering position, please reach out to me!Jonathan Arias shared thisLife update: I am so excited to share that just a few weeks ago I completed the Flatiron School software engineering boot-camp! I still can’t believe that I can now call myself a developer, especially since I took a big risk to pivot to this field during the pandemic. I am beyond grateful to my family and the people around me that encouraged me to make this monumental step. I've been working on building my portfolio- https://lnkd.in/dzHVWu6v (which is still work in progress). where you will be able to find my completed projects showcasing my expertise. I'll soon be switching to job search mode. Since this is a career shift, I am looking to build my network with new people who are working in tech roles in a variety of industries. My goal is to first learn about different positions in different organizations and to better understand the diversity of companies and industries and how I might be of value based on my background. If you or your company hires entry level engineers or someone you are connected to works in a company that hires entry level engineers, please message me directly! #softwareengineering #developer #opentowork #jobsearch #softwareengineer #softwaredeveloper #webdeveloper #softwareengineerjobs #flatiron #flatironschool

That’s why we’ve built Kinesso, a Marketing Intelligence Engine for Interpublic Group (IPG). Check out our launch video to see what we’re all about. #WeAreKinesso | Cadreon

Jonathan Arias liked thisJonathan Arias liked thisAfter 6 years, 8 months, and 11 days, I’m both excited and sad to share that I’ll be closing this chapter of my career at Kinesso. It’s funny to think this journey started right after a month long, post grad trip through Asia, when I landed back at JFK and saw an email from a recruiter at IPG Mediabrands about a company I had never even heard of at the time, Cadreon. Little did I know, that company would shape my life in so many ways. I still remember showing up on my first day in a full suit and tie, only to walk into an office full of jeans and t-shirts with a ton of side eyes and immediately questioning everything TV had taught me about a corporate office. What followed was my introduction to the complex world of Programmatic. A world filled with pacing docs, bid changes, QA docs, tag sheets, opto logs, alphas, betas, MBRs, QBRs, MMMs, and more acronyms than I could count and a ton of google searches of “what does XYZ mean, digital advertising”. Through all of it, one thing continues to stay true, this industry never stops evolving, and I’m incredibly grateful that I stumbled into it. Over the years, I experienced multiple rebrands from Cadreon, Matterkind, Kinesso, Kinesso again (but in pink!) and a major M&A by Omnicom. I’ve seen great people come and go, some great leaders come and go, and unfortunately some great benefits go (RIP unlimited PTO and Kind week). But I’m grateful to have been a part of it and gone through it all. And I’m especially grateful for all of the people I’ve worked with… my managers, mentors, teammates, clients, and friends who have taught me, challenged me, supported me, and helped shape both my career and who I am today. Looking back, it’s been an incredible journey that I never could have imagined when I walked into that orange filled office years ago. I’m excited for what’s next… onto the next chapter!

Jonathan Arias reacted on thisWow - I have many things to express in this head of mine, but to avoid taking up half of everyone's LinkedIn feed, I'll do my best to sum up my thoughts below. I will forever be grateful for my time supporting IPG Mediabrands and KINESSO. When I first started, I had no comprehension of how the work of a receptionist could play a key role in operations, but I quickly learned just how true that is. That experience and my time here has only further cemented the type of administrator I constantly aspire to be; one who is people-driven, energetic, and doesn't take the word 'impossible' at face value. Although it saddens me to move on, I leave in confidence knowing that I take with me the meaningful connections I have cultivated over the past four years. I have been incredibly privileged to work with such a bright group of people and an outstanding team (including my wonderful sister Clara Gonzalez!) To the friends I have made, new and old, it has been a good ride! Thank you for everything. A huge thank you as well to Yerddy M Lanfranco for the beautiful words below, and to everyone wishing me luck in my next role. I'm so touched by the outpour of support I have received during this time.Jonathan Arias reacted on thisNot many times we come across people that make a lasting impact on our lives and their surroundings. Amanda Gonzalez you were a positive influence on our daily lives, not just for the amazing work you did but for your warmth, soft yet welcoming smile and beautiful personality. I will miss your welcoming smile at the office on the 3rd floor. Loved having cross paths with someone like you. Best to you! Clara Gonzalez happy I still have you to remind me of Amanda’s warmth 🩷🩷🩷

Jonathan Arias reacted on thisJonathan Arias reacted on thisEndometriosis Awareness Month 💛 1 in 7, 6.5 years for a diagnosis, and one of the most painful conditions in the world. It’s been a few years since I last shared about endometriosis. Continued awareness, better research funding, and improved medical care are still critical. This year, I wanted to share more accessible ways we can all make a difference by leading with understanding, flexibility, and support. We rarely see the full picture of what someone is going through. Many moments that look “business as usual” on the outside do not reflect what is happening behind the scenes. Below, I have included a couple of examples from my own life where the image likely would not represent the internal battle. Tough days are not unique to those with endometriosis or even those with invisible and chronic illnesses. Everyone knows the feeling. However, those living with endometriosis and other chronic conditions often face them more frequently. 1 in 6 people with endometriosis will lose their employment due to managing the disease, and 70% have to take unpaid time off to manage symptoms*. When you are trying to work and your condition is flaring up, there is an added layer of complexity in getting through the day. Small, thoughtful adjustments in the workplace can have a meaningful impact. What support has looked like in my career: • Approachable managers and open, honest conversations • The ability to bring small comforts into the office, such as blankets or hot water bottles. Sometimes this is the difference between being able to show up or not • Flexibility to work from home, the couch, or even bed when needed • Space to simply say, “I’m having an off day” • Consideration around workplace attire. Especially important for organisations with a uniform, given the realities of chronic symptoms like bloating These may seem like small things, but they can create an environment where people feel supported, not limited. If you are a leader or teammate, this month is a great reminder that empathy and flexibility go a long way. If you have any other small and accessible changes you recommend, I would love to hear them! 🥰 A quick note: i'd like to note that I was never forced to work days after surgery. This was a personal choice. One that I would not recommend - now that I am older and wiser 😉 https://lnkd.in/giV-nhMs
