On May 21, Google began rolling out its May 2026 core update. At the same time, AI-generated answers continue to appear more prominently in search results, with some studies estimating that AI Overviews now appear in a substantial share of Google searches — and that number is growing. This means anyone searching for information related to your cases, your firm, or your clients may be getting an AI-generated summary before they ever reach your website. The implications are real. The sources Google’s AI relies on can shape what people see first — affecting visibility, credibility, and whether they receive accurate information at the right time. The good news: the fundamentals still apply. Clear, structured, authoritative content is what earns visibility — both in traditional search and in AI-generated results.
