🔔New Client Alert: "IRS Issues Guidance on “No Tax on Qualified Tips and Qualified Overtime” – What Employers Should Know" written by Rebecca Strauss, Erica Quigley, and Mark Rizik The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) includes deductions for qualifying tips and overtime – often called “no tax on tips” and “no tax on overtime.” They are designed to reduce taxable wages for eligible workers. Employees can now deduct qualifying tips (up to $25,000) and overtime premiums (up to $12,500) from taxable income for tax years 2025-2028.
