John Tantillo, Ph.D. posted thisJOB SEEKERS: BEWARE OF FRAUD ON LINKEDIN. ITS NOT LINKEDIN—ITS INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS!! Caveat Emptor: There are “so called” sinister recruiters or even “concerned” connections that advise your resume is not up to par. They prey on insecure individuals who do not believe in their self worth or naive to the ways of the world. These slime buckets tell u that your resume is not up to “what u are capable of” and they will send u to someone who can make your resume become acceptable to employers or ATS (Applicant Tracking System) even though it is. I have reported them to LinkedIn and they are now being investigation thank you for your attention in this matter. Oh yes, they even use the LinkedIn brand, A "LinkedIn Parsing System,” to further their ends. A simple Google search says this. It does not exist as an official automated screening tool and is heavily flagged by recruiters as a scam. However, if you meant resume parsing inside Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) used alongside LinkedIn, the software reads unstructured text to standardize candidate data, such as skills, education, and employment history, into structured database fields. To justify this dastardly deed, by saying they will make ur resume a LinkedIn friendly format. Please do not pay for this service. It can be easily handled by any AI platform. Thank you.
