    -

    Developed a single tool for the monitoring of critical plant systems and processes as well as a "birth certificate" for each product which comes off of the line. Project included all aspects from collecting bits from the machine through analysis and presentation. My role was sole developer, data analyst, database administrator, and system architect. Project savings, $750,000

  • Sun Tracking Solar Station

    -

    The goal of this project was to create a solar panel that would track the sun using an arduino to command the small station. My contribution to the project was both the design and the fabrication of the station itself, along with the mechanical design of the moving components. The design was created in Solid Works and fabricated in wood.

  • Highlands Museum and Discovery Center Space Science exhibit

    -

    The goal of this project was to create a museum display suitable for school children from kindergarten through high school which features several key aspects of space science. My job in the project was to design the graphics for each part of the exhibit, totaling over 2000 square feet of wall space. The project heavily relied on the use of adobe illustrator for the graphics and Solid Works to model out the room and components in order to visualize the project before completion.

  • Microcantilever Research

    The goal of this project was to find a correlation between the vibration of a microcantilever and the gas the microelectromechanical system (MEMS) was surrounded by using computer simulations. My contribution to the project was the computer simulations themselves using NX 8.

    As a board of accreditation member, I have the incredible responsibility to review every school throughout the nation which is seeking accreditation through ATMAE. After the extensive review process, I also hold voting power on the board to allow or deny the accreditation to the school. This position has involved frequent online communication with other board members, as well as meeting at the national ATMAE conference as a board to hear from the school representatives and vote publicly.
