Jessica G. reacted on thisAfter many late nights, deadlines, projects, and plenty of energy drinks, I’m proud to say I’ve completed my Master’s degree. This experience taught me a lot, not just academically, but personally too. I learned how to push myself and stay committed, but also how important it is to recognize when things become too much and that it’s okay to breathe and not allow the pressure to get to you. After a Bachelor’s and now a Master’s, I think I’ll take a little break from school… but not from learning. There’s still so much to learn and experience in both my career and life. Jasper suffered some horrific fires last year, and the scars still show, but Mother Nature has started to heal the landscape, and I imagine in just a few years the evidence of the destruction will not be visible any more. Meaningful news for the Illinois market. Wyld's acquisition of Grön feels less like consolidation and more like alignment. Two brands that have earned trust the right way. Consistent quality. Clean execution. Strong retail relationships. Hearing that nothing changes operationally while additional support comes behind the scenes is precisely how these moves should be handled. Too often, acquisitions lead to shortcuts, SKU chaos, or diluted brand identity. This does not feel like that. If this leads to deeper innovation, better supply reliability, and long-term investment in the edible category, the market is better for it. Watching this one closely. 2026 just got more interesting.
