Jeff Griener reposted thisJeff Griener reposted thisWitnessing a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) can be a startling experience. Take a moment today to familiarize yourself with the warning signs so you can be prepared to respond. Do you know the signs? ➡️ Victims of SCA may suddenly lose consciousness or already be unconscious when they are found.¹ ➡️ You may see them gasping for air, or they will have stopped breathing entirely.¹ ➡️ If you attempt to wake someone suffering from an SCA by shouting at or shaking them, they’ll remain unresponsive.¹ ➡️ SCA victims will have no pulse.¹ Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, regardless of how old they are. Immediate action is the key to saving lives - that’s why knowing what to look for is so important. Spread awareness, save lives. #SCAAwarenessMonth #SuddenCardiacArrest #AED #CPR #CPRSavesLives

Jeff Griener reacted on thisJeff Griener reacted on thisI want to share that I have reached a significant milestone and the beginning of an exciting new chapter. I recently left MasterControl after more than 20 years of what has been a remarkable and rewarding stretch of my 38+ year career in software and technology services. My time at MasterControl has been nothing short of extraordinary, and that is largely a testament to the incredible people I've had the privilege of working alongside. The friendships made, the lessons learned, and the countless opportunities and experiences I've been fortunate to embrace have shaped me both professionally and personally. As I reflect on this journey — with all its successes, challenges, and everything in between — one word rises above the rest: Gratitude. This is a season of new beginnings and wonderful possibilities ahead. While I'll resist using the word "retirement", I do look forward to spending more time with family and friends, exploring new destinations, giving back through service, and pursuing other meaningful interests. To each of you with whom I have worked with over the many years— thank you for friendship and for making my many work experiences meaningful and enjoyable. On to new adventures…

It's been an extraordinary path - from early roles in legal and RAQA, through HR and compliance leadership, commercial operations and large scale integrations, to leading the Emergency Care business unit over the past several years. I'm especially proud of what our team accomplished together: expanding our global market leadership, bringing multiple innovative products to market, and delivering sustained growth in a business that plays a critical role in saving lives every day. I'm deeply grateful to the many colleagues, mentors, and teams I've had the privilege to work alongside. Relationships are the bedrock at Stryker and those will last a lifetime. The culture, the people, and the mission make it a truly special organization. As I look ahead, I am taking time to be intentional about my next chapter and the opportunity to continue building, leading and creating impact. Thank you to every single person, and there are many, who have been part of this incredible Stryker story.

Over the past several weeks, I've had the privilege of joining our teams across North America, APAC and Europe for their annual Sales Meetings. Across every region, the passion and commitment of our people is unmistakable. Whether reconnecting with long‑time colleagues or welcoming new talent, the power of our culture and our focus on serving customers shines through. Thank you to everyone who contributed to these impactful gatherings. Your dedication and drive continue to inspire me, and I’m excited for what we’ll accomplish together in 2026. #WeAreStryker #Teamwork #Gratitude

Jeff Griener reacted on thisJeff Griener reacted on thisAfter 13 years of growth, profound learning, and, above all, cultivating friendships that I will carry with me forever, today I begin to close this deeply meaningful chapter at Stryker. I leave with a sense of fulfillment and a peaceful heart, knowing I gave my absolute best to this great organization and to the incredible teams I had the honor of being a part of. It fills me with pride to see Medical Latin America prove its strength once again in 2025, meeting our financial objectives and solidifying its position as the fastest-growing region in the Division—a perfect close to this cycle. I have nothing but gratitude for Stryker, its mission, and every person who accompanied me in my professional evolution. I was immensely fortunate to learn from world-class leaders like Jessica Mathieson, Fabrizio Signorin, Silvia Fontoura Braga, Scott Sagehorn, and David Murphy, to whom I reported directly or indirectly; they shaped my career in ways I will always be grateful for. To my dear Medical Latam team: a GIANT thank you! You are extraordinary people. Together, we built something truly special—we grew, learned from our mistakes, and strengthened our bonds to take care of our customers and one another. That generosity and commitment are exactly what allowed us to achieve historic results for the Division in Latin America. To all the other teams I worked with, and especially to my dear Stryker Chile: thank you for the kindness, the honest conversations, and for teaching me the value of resilience with integrity. I leave with a heart full of memorable moments, ready to face my next challenge with all the energy and wisdom gained over these years. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart!

Jeff Griener reacted on thisJeff Griener reacted on thisMy Son has ADD - he’s struggled with it for most of his life. He successfully graduated high school by the skin of his teeth and attempted college but after 1 year of constant struggle he decided to try something else. He found himself a pathway into an Electrical Apprenticeship and for the last 8 months has excelled. However, behind this smile is his daily struggle to focus, remember things and fight through his disability. Behind this smile is a story of endurance and resilience. He reminded me this morning - not in words but in actions - that his ADD is still a struggle every….single….day. A quick story: He leaves at 3AM and goes to the gym and then at 4AM he leaves the gym to go to work to be there by 5AM. Yesterday he had class for his apprenticeship and today he’s back on the jobsite. In between he brought his hardhat into the house. In between he forgot to put it back in his car. He arrived to work and made this discovery. A hardhat is required in the jobsite. So, he had to come home and get it and go back to work. This is an hour and a half drive round trip. While I understand what happened and so does he, some might not. I wonder what his Foreman thought. He doesn’t even think about - he comes home, grabs his gear and heads back to work laughing at himself and adding another item on his list of morning preparation. So today, when you are at work, remember that there is no way to know the struggle someone went through to show up. So smile more, assume good intent and be kind every chance you get!
